The most normal mix of day workers in those similar looking offices, stressed housewives and so on. SEE is a micro impact initiative started in 2014, supporting the education of kids belonging to the economically challenged domestic help groups viz maids, cooks, drivers, cleaners and similar working in our community ( Tata Sherwood/ 376 apartments). We collect contributions from the immediate comm
unity and other well wishers and deploy these funds to 1) Pay the part/ full school fee 2) Conduct regular tuitions for the kids in Class 4th -10th. On an average, we support 80+ kids through fee support and 35+ kids through tuitions every year
None of us are teachers by profession but we try and keep the curiosity and excitement of the kids alive in the context of their school books. We are also trying to deploy modules for personality development, communication skills etc. SEE is driven by the support provided by the community and the energy and interest of kids and their parents. This is our fuel and make us face all the challenges with a hope in our heart.
