What happens when passionate young leaders come together with a shared vision for the year ahead? ✨

On the 9th of August, 2026, members of Rotaract Bangalore West gathered for our 1st General Body Meeting (GBM). More than just a routine club gathering, it was an afternoon of connection, alignment, and renewed energy as we set the tone for the journey ahead. 💙

The meeting began with an important update on our ongoing Assam Project, reflecting our collective commitment to creating impact beyond our immediate communities. Members actively brainstormed future project ideas, bringing fresh perspectives, innovative solutions, and boundless enthusiasm to the table. 🌱

A club is truly defined by the people who choose to walk its path. This GBM became all the more special as we proudly badged our newest members, officially welcoming them into a family driven by service, leadership, and fellowship. 🤝

We wrapped up the productive afternoon with engaging fellowship activities, strengthening the bonds that form the very core of our club culture. 🎉

Service is built on collaboration, and every conversation shared brings us closer to the goals we strive to achieve together. Here's to the first of many milestones this year, and to the incredible journey of impact that lies ahead. 🌟

🎥 "We didn't expect it to get this bad."

That's what our volunteers on the ground in Assam are saying right now.

Over 10 lakh people have been affected by the floods. Entire villages are cut off. Homes, farmland, and years of hard work — gone in days.

But every single day, Rotaractors in Assam are showing up — wading through floodwater, loading relief trucks, reaching families who have no other way out. Working hand in hand with Rotary and local administration to make sure help doesn't stop. 💛

Today, Rotaract Bangalore West is joining them.

We're raising funds and sending relief materials directly from Bangalore to Assam — because distance should never decide who gets help.

Here's how you can be part of it:
💰 Scan the QR code in this reel to contribute financially
📦 Drop off essentials at our collection point — clothes, food, hygiene kits, and more (full list in our bio/next post!)

Every rupee. Every item. Every share. It all reaches someone who needs it.

Can't donate right now? Share this video. You never know — this might be the one share that reaches someone who can. 🙏

📍 Collection Point: Rotary Bangalore West Auditorium
🗓️ Drop-off Window: before 16th August, 2026
