We had the opportunity to conduct an autism and neurodiversity sensitisation program for ~169 students of Vishwaprajnaa Academy, Channenahalli, Bangalore on 21st February.

We were surprised and glad to interact with a 4th grade student who knew the different types of disability, what autism is and the full form of ADHD! Awareness is spreading and we are happy to be a part of it. Sindhu Jayan

During the recent visit of the Gupta Family Foundation, the lunch for our guests was thoughtfully prepared and served by Samruddhi Swasahaya Sangha — ASHA’s Mothers Self Help Group.

Samruddhi Swasahaya Sangha was established to build entrepreneurial skills and promote financial empowerment among mothers. On this special occasion, they catered a traditional South Indian meal served on banana leaves, showcasing not only culinary excellence but also teamwork and dignity of labour.

The mothers worked alongside individuals with autism and other developmental conditions to prepare the lunch, making the experience truly inclusive and meaningful.

We had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Shashikant Gupta and his daughter, Ms. Radhika Gupta, from the Gupta Family Foundation for half a day on 26th February 2026.
For the past 23 years, the Gupta Family Foundation has been one of our strongest and most steadfast supporters. During their visit, we revisited our shared journey and reflected on key milestones that have shaped ASHA’s growth and impact over the years.

Our team presented an overview of our:
• Early Intervention Program
• Day School Program
• Co-curricular activities
• Technology interventions
• Family and community services

It was a meaningful interaction filled with reflection and gratitude and how far we have come.

We deeply value this partnership and cherish the long-standing association that continues to strengthen our mission.
