Meet Dhanush C, our Seva Hero of the Month! Since joining YFS Bangalore in 2018, Dhanush has been empowering government school students through dedicated, year-round NMMS and NTSE scholarship coaching.

Through his unwavering commitment, he ensures at least one student from KPS, Dodda Banaswadi qualifies for the NMMS scholarship every single year. During the pandemic, his exceptional mentoring guided 8 out of 10 online Chiguru prize winners to victory. Beyond coaching, he has consistently contributed across the board as an Anchor Volunteer, Lead Volunteer, and event judge to strengthen educational outreach.

Sowing the seeds for a greener and brighter tomorrow! 🌱🌍

The Youth for Seva Delhi Chapter organized an engaging and eco-friendly Seed Ball Making activity at the Delhi office on June 7th. The session kicked off with an insightful briefing on the environmental importance of seed balls and how this simple, hands-on activity plays a crucial role in restoring our green cover.

Here is a quick look at the impact of the day:

The Impact: A total of 104 seed balls were enthusiastically crafted by the team, ready to be planted to grow into beautiful trees! 🌳

The Changemakers: 10 dedicated volunteers and interns rolled up their sleeves and worked together with great teamwork for this wonderful green cause. 🤝

The Way Forward: Beyond environmental action, the session also included a productive discussion where volunteers mapped out the way forward for their internships, clearly understanding their upcoming roles and vital duties within our Abhyasikas (learning centers). 📚

A heartfelt Dhanyawad to our amazing Delhi volunteers for their incredible energy and dual commitment to both nature conservation and youth education. Together, we are truly planting the seeds of positive change! 🙌

Empowering Grassroots Leadership!
Youth for Seva successfully conducted Seva Prerak Meetings across 4 districts—Hubballi, Belagavi, Vijayapura, and Sirsi—from May 30th to June 2nd, 2026.
With 12–15 Seva Preraks, City Coordinators, and Mentors participating in each district, the 4-day Pravasa was packed with impactful discussions focused on,Monthly Mentor meetings & interactive sessions with experts. Promoting reading habits inspired by social change-maker, Training Seva Preraks as effective local leaders & speakers and Strengthening volunteer engagement & future ex*****on planning
The sessions were guided by our National VM Development Coordinator Venkat Dusari ji, YFS Founder & Chief Mentor Shri Venkatesh Murthy Ji, and North Karnataka Coordinator Laxman Ji. Alongside Chapter Advisory Board meetings, we also undertook volunteer home visits to build deeper relationships and appreciate our incredible network at the grassroots level. 💼🏠

The Youth for Seva Dehradun Chapter was incredibly honored to be invited and awarded by an esteemed partner NGO during their 19th induction ceremony at the prestigious Welham Girls' School.

This beautiful recognition celebrates our collective contribution to social service and community development in the region. The inspiring event deeply resonated with our core values, shining a bright spotlight on the critical importance of education, leadership, and volunteerism in empowering young minds to create a positive, lasting social impact.
