Saamuhika Shakti Initiative Strengthens Education in Medi Agrahara | 2026
Sparsha Trust, as part of the collective impact initiative Saamuhika Shakti, proudly inaugurated a Community-Based Centre in Medi Agrahara, Bengaluru marking a major milestone in ensuring quality education and holistic development for children.
The inauguration on 19th February 2026 was graced by Ms. Shakuntala Devi (CDPO), Ms. Tejaswini (ACDPO),Mr. Ganesh S. Kolageri, Founder of Dalit Samara Sena, Sri Alanguru Shivanna mentor and supporter - Sparsha Trust, Kolara District, and Mr. Gopinath R, Managing Trustee of Sparsha Trust.
Since 2024, the initiative has been working to address school dropouts, and never-enrolled children. Out of 22 identified children in 2025, 20 have been successfully re-enrolled in schools through bridge courses, counseling, and consistent community engagement.
The newly established Centre now supports 20 children with academic reinforcement, life skills, and child rights awareness, strengthening their learning journey beyond school hours.
Addressing the gathering,
Mr. Ganesh S. Kolageri emphasized that education is the true power of development and highlighted the importance of nurturing curiosity and positive behavior in every child.
Ms. Shakuntala Devi, CDPO, appreciated the efforts of Sparsha Trust in promoting holistic development among children in the community.
Mr. Gopinath R, Managing Trustee of Sparsha Trust, stated that the Community-Based Centre provides a valuable platform for every child to excel academically and grow holistically.
