“When healthcare felt miles away, they brought it within reach.”
That theme could not have been more closely aligned with the work of the Bayer-supported Phygital PHC Telemedicine Centre Project, implemented by Telerad Foundation.
We are delighted to share that Telerad Foundation was honoured today at the Times of India Social Impact Summit 2026 in Mumbai, under the Health & Wellbeing category.
The project works through government Primary Health Centres across Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat to bring teleconsultations, specialist care, diagnostics, preventive screening, medicines and referral support closer to underserved rural communities.
In FY 2025–26 alone, the programme delivered 90,034 teleconsultations, including 43,382 specialist consultations, while also supporting chronic disease management, maternal healthcare, eye care and community health awareness.
The honour was received by Mr Ashwani Sinha, Chief Impact Officer, Telerad Foundation, alongside Ms Uma Hariharan, representing our CSR partner Bayer.
This recognition comes soon after the project received the FKCCI CSR Award 2026 – Excellence in Healthcare, making it the second major recognition for the initiative this year.
We are grateful to Bayer for its continued support and to the National Health Mission, District Health Administrations and Government PHCs for their partnership.
We also thank Malabar Gold & Diamonds and Reliance Foundation, presenting sponsors of the Times of India Social Impact Summit 2026, for supporting a platform that recognises meaningful social impact.
For us, bringing healthcare within reach is not just the theme of this recognition — it is the very purpose of this programme.
