Mainstreams and Margins

Mainstreams and Margins Change begins when we face the truth and it starts with each of us. Join us.

M & M is a light-bearer initiative - drawing conversations either long stifled, intentionally locked up in the shadows, best left unspoken or simply ignored – into the light.

"How do we remember difficult histories without being defined by them? How do experiences of loss become a lifelong commitment to justice?"

Join us for a special edition of Mainstream and Margins featuring Paramjeet Singh—human rights activist, author of Main Kyon Jaaon Apna Sheher, and passionate cyclist.

Together, we'll explore the intersections of memory, displacement, activism, and hope, and discover how one person's journey became a lifelong pursuit of justice and belonging.

The lead-up to this new start 🚀

When we launched this podcast in 2020, we called ourselves _Humanity 2.0_. Idealistic and utopian? Perhaps.

In the aftermath of the horrific pandemic, 😷 as we tried to gauge our collective losses, the math of course, didn’t add up. What we as a people lost as collateral was more than we imagined, most of it irretrievable.

This endeavour was a call to reimagine, reinvent and rewire, and to begin somewhere new…which led us to hope that Humanity could have a 2.0 version. It was a torch we held up as we tunneled our way out.

Six years later, the torch burns brighter, now as Mainstreams and Margins 🥳🤩
