Parenting isn't an easy task, neither it was nor it will be. Every household has a different environment, culture, sets of people and everything...when I say everything I state that with due respect. However, one thing remains the same and that is parents worrying about their children. In this recent year while I am practicing as a Parenting Coach, I have observed and got the hands on experience that every parent is struggling with either the studies or behaviour of the child.
These issues will remain unsolved as it's uncountable, infinite, ceaseless, extensive, immeasurable and so on...while in all these concerns that each one of the parents have (including myself) came across some common traits between all of us 😊
Mind conflict 🤯 was soaring high with questions pounding on me and amazingly all the questions ❓ were "WHY".
To all that "WHY", I juggled a lot to settle down with a quick and basic solution which itself is comprehensive in its own way. Listing out top three Do's with a most desirable Don't from many:
1. Time - please take out some good amount of time for the child/children
2. Communicate - simply talk to them. Conversing is a good practice for your personal development.
3. Bonding - establish a strong trustworthy bond
4. 🙅 Nagging - keep aside. Don't always act as an authoritarian, no discussion / no complain about homework or behavioural issues.
The top 3👆 points will anyways take care of it.
Apart from established above pointers I would like to add on something this New Year for 'Us' 🥳
Bonus - Combo tips 😊 - Utilise our leisure time to cultivate. What I mean is that whenever possible let's embrace nature to cultivate our mind, body and soul. It's very rare that the entire family enjoys vacation with nature which indeed is an unnatural way of our inhabitants on this earth.
Let the children touch, feel, sink in as natural as they can be like the way we did in our childhood (Flashback, Nostalgic 🤗). We will rejuvenate and our child/children will come across every essence of life.
a. Appreciate nature and the creator 🙏
b. Value and respect self and others
c. Beautiful to be natural
d. Nature is the best healer
e. Nature is the best teacher... and the list can go on. The power of nature is unimaginable. Treasure it for Life!
