yourstrulytheatre Started in 2003 with a vision of using the power of applied improvizational theatre for change & exp It explores movement, drama, and soundscapes.

With over 300 interactive theatre performances with a team of around 100 members Yours Truly is reaching out to diverse audiences and venues. Our experiments in theatre have received overwhelming responses from theatre lovers and critics alike. This Journey has been possible because of our team who have been as passionate as we are. TWO RECENT PRODUCTIONS include:

About The play: The play traces the journey of the common man in a city filled with multitudinal vignettes of life. Highlighting the lighter side of life, it draws a caricature with all the funny paradoxes of our lives which are exaggerated, distorted & at times oversimplified. This highly entertaining play involves and engages you in a surreal world which is visually striking, musically resonating and emotionally absorbing, reflected in its nomination to the International Theatre Festival at Armenia. Bhagwaan Dhoondo: (Done in 'Complete the story' theatre style, where the audience gets to end the last few scenes of the play )

About the Play: Bhagwaan Dhoondo traces a journey; journey of people in multiple stages of life, of city, plasticity, concreteness, oneness, abstraction, and duality of the mind. This devised production is completely exploratory in nature with multiple short stories on the theme of search with music being a common thread. The production is an amalgamation of lights, music, and actors.

We went from why movies? to the movies that stayed with us, the hot takes we couldn’t let go of, and the recommendations that kept piling up. An evening of stories, opinions, and a lot of “wait, you HAVE to watch this.”

We left with significantly longer watchlists than we came with🍿

When was the last time you did something just because it was fun?

Our next Weekday Theatre & Acting Workshop is a 6-day invitation to step away from routine and reconnect with the part of you that likes to play, experiment and make things up as you go.

Through movement, improvisation, rhythm, character work, theatre games and presentations, we’ll explore expression, body language, collaboration and presence.

You’ll make mistakes.
You’ll probably laugh at yourself.
You might surprise yourself too.

And somewhere along the way, you may realise that being expressive doesn't have to feel scary.

Open to working professionals, students, parents, freelancers, entrepreneurs, retirees- basically, anyone with a flexible schedule and a little curiosity.

Outstation participants are welcome.

Nurturing Care and Belonging in Youth Work- an Erasmus+ international training course for youth professionals in the Rhodope Mountains, Bulgaria.

Selected for this platform, Nandini Rao (our co founder & Artistic Director) delivered a training module on Natyashastra — Indian performing arts theory and methodology — to an ensemble of youth workers from seven countries. The highlight: a public Playback Theatre performance, conducted by Nandini for the town of Smolyan, bringing live testimony to community voice.

Featuring cross-cultural methodology designed between India and the Netherlands, now available for collaboration across Europe.

Co-created by Yours Truly Theatre and supporting practitioners and educators everywhere.

Always wanted to explore stage acting, performance or simply try something new and creative? This is your sign to begin.

Our upcoming Basic Theatre Workshop is beginner friendly and is for anyone who wants to experience the joy of theatre in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment. Whether you're looking to improve stage confidence, communication skills, creativity, or just spend your weekends doing something exciting, sign up for this workshop right away!

Over 3 weekends, participants can expect and will be introduced to:
