Today, we the northeast leaders representing the Northeastern community came together to meet the Bengaluru City Police Commissioner regarding the challenges and issues our people continue to face in Bengaluru. We deeply appreciate the opportunity to present our concerns and look forward to constructive solutions that ensure safety, dignity, and equal treatment for all.

A few days ago, our community was shaken by a heartbreaking tragedy — four young boys lost their lives inside a confined room. Four precious lives gone far too soon. No family should ever have to experience such unbearable pain.

Today, we raised this matter with the Honorable Police Commissioner, requesting a thorough investigation and complete accountability. We need clear answers about what led to this tragedy and stronger safety measures to ensure such incidents never happen again.
This issue goes beyond any single community. It is a matter of public awareness, responsibility, and prevention. Confined spaces without proper ventilation or safety checks can become fatal within minutes. We must call for stricter enforcement, increased public awareness, and accountability wherever negligence is found.

Justice for the four boys. Strength to their families. And a collective responsibility for all of us to ensure such a tragedy is never repeated.

We also highlighted the many challenges faced by Northeastern students and workers in Bengaluru, including safety concerns, discrimination, and everyday hardships. We hope today’s discussion leads to meaningful actions and long-term solutions.

Warm Regards
Mising Réngam Association Of Bangalore

Today, leaders representing the Northeastern community came together to meet the Bangaluru Police Commissioner regarding the issues we face in the city. We appreciate the opportunity to raise our concerns and look forward to constructive solutions that ensure safety, dignity and equal treatment for all.

This is not just about one community. It is about awareness, responsibility, and preventing future loss of innocent lives. Confined spaces without proper ventilation and safety checks can turn deadly within minutes. We must demand stricter enforcement, public awareness, and accountability wherever negligence is found.

Justice for the four boys. Strength to their families. And a collective responsibility on all of us to ensure this never repeats.

It is very sad to inform you that we, the Bangalore Mising Bangke Agom Kébang, have handed over our branch to the MAK Head Office in Assam. This decision was taken after a detailed discussion within the Bangalore Mising Bangke Agom Kébang core committee.

We tried our very best to keep our organization alive. However, a few individuals did not want Agom Kébang to continue functioning here in Bangalore and there were also internal conflicts in running the organization.

So we, the Core Committee of the Bangalore Mising Bangke Agom Kébang Branch, hereby formally submit our decision to hand over the responsibilities of our branch to the esteemed Head Office.

As you are aware, in the presence of respected Mr. Harinarayan Pegu, Mr. Rabin Patiri, Mr. Rajkumar Morang, Mr. Reedip Ject Doley and one executive member of the TMPK Central Team, the Bangalore Mising Bangke Agom Kébang Branch was officially declared on 31st October 2023 at the Indira Nagar East Cultural Association Auditorium. At that time, we were entrusted with 35 Mising books, 02 flags and 01 roop.

After thorough discussion and careful consideration, we, the Core Committee members, have collectively decided to hand over the branch to your respected Head Office. We feel that we may not have been able to manage the branch activities as effectively as expected. During several initiatives, we did not receive adequate feedback or support from some individuals, which may have been due to our own shortcomings or miscommunication.

We want to humbly clarify that our intention has always been pure, as we are proud members of the Mising community and deeply committed to working for our people. We respectfully request that our decision not be misunderstood. Our dedication to serving the community remains unchanged and we are always ready to contribute to any community-related activities in the future.

With this letter, we respectfully hand over all responsibilities, documents and items belonging to the organisation back to the Head Office.

Therefore, we kindly request all our supporters not to feel bad or disappointed.

We will come back again, much stronger than before.

Thank you for your understanding and continued guidance.

Thank you so much to the Central Committee of MAK for your confirmation letter. We are always with you whenever you need us. This is not the end—one day, we will start again, stronger than before.

This does not mean we are ending because of conflicts. Whenever you remember us or need us, we will always be there.

Thank you so much from team Bangalore Mising Bangke Agom kébang.

We also request all of you to stay in touch with us. Whatever your situation may be, we will always try our best to assist you in any way we can.

We want unity wherever we may be.

We are also pleased to announce that our organisation name has been changed from Bangalore Mising Bangké Agom to Mising Réngam Association of Bangalore.

Warm Regards
Team Bangalore Mising Bangke Agom kébang

Dear all,

As discussed earlier in the presence of the
DSP and Dr. Vijay N. M., they had stated that the chemical postmortem report would be available within four to five days. However, this afternoon I spoke to Mr. Ravi Kumar, In-charge of Sulibele Police Station and the officer handling this case, and he informed me that it will actually take around 15 days to receive the chemical report.

I also mentioned to him that the DSP and Dr. Vijay N. M., had given a shorter timeline, but he clarified that because the case involves four victims, the process will take longer than expected.

Regarding the investigation status, he explained that there is currently *no further scope* for investigation until the chemical report is available.

They have tried multiple approaches but have not found any evidence so far. He added that if anyone has doubts or any form of evidence, they are willing to investigate further based on that.

As of now, we must wait a minimum of 15 days for the chemical postmortem report. Once it is received, the investigation can proceed accordingly.

Thank you all for your continuous support.

Warm Regards
Bimal Doley
