Unboxingblr Unboxing Bengaluru - the city of code, culture and coffee.

Indiranagar Metro isn’t chaotic because people are irresponsible.

It’s chaotic because the space is badly designed and poorly managed.

Autos are squeezing in, pedestrians spilling onto the road, and traffic police firing daily. There is clearly a planning and enforcement gap.

What if traffic police, metro officials, auto drivers, shopkeepers and residents met every month at the ward level to fix just this one junction?
Adjust. Review. Improve. Repeat.

All the city needs is a small space and consistent follow-up.

In the final part of our 3-part docuseries, ‘How to Fix Bengaluru’, we go into details into the city’s governance reset, from the old BBMP model to the new Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) framework.

This 3-part docuseries is a part of Namma Bengaluru Challenge ‘26, Bengaluru’s city-led innovation challenge by UnboxingBLR in partnership with Social Alpha & WTFund.

This year, the challenge addresses climate action by bringing together startups, government, and innovators to solve for air, water, waste, and construction.

Bengaluru’s festive markets come alive as the season approaches 🌷

Flower bundles are stacked high, sweets are packed into boxes, and shoppers move quickly from stall to stall, checking off their lists.

The lanes are fuller, the sounds louder, and the air carries the unmistakable scent of the season.

Each market has its own energy, each stall its own little story, and the city joyously prepares for the celebrations ahead.

What’s the one item on your festive shopping list that you can’t do without?

Drop it in the comments, and we’ll make the ultimate festive shopping list👇

Presenting to you, HOMATO.

Watch hunger saviours and self proclaimed city fixers .harman & .m.kamath pitch this totally real, slightly chaotic startup idea to our panel at the Namma Bengaluru Challenge, Jan 24th.
