🌱 Partnership for Impact 🌱

We’re excited to share that Confederation of Indian Industry – Young Indians (Yi) and KReate Foundation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to work together on initiatives in climate education, urban mobility, and water sustainability.

While the MoU spans multiple focus areas, our immediate priority is in the Climate vertical — driving climate literacy, community engagement, and youth-led initiatives that not only inspire action but also build long-term resilience.

We just wrapped up a 15-hour immersive, interaction-based Circular Economy course at for final-year Master’s students in design (transport, interaction & more).

Through real-world case studies and hands-on frameworks, students learned how to:
→ Turn waste streams into value generators
→ Embed circularity from first sketch to final product
→ Lead climate innovation in emerging markets

In a country of 1.4 billion, even small habits add up. Each person in India throws away about 0.12 kg of plastic daily, that’s 9.5 million tonnes a year, nearly 20% of the world’s plastic waste.

It clogs our cities, burns, releasing toxic fumes, and chokes marine life. Worse, microplastics are now in our blood, food, and even unborn children.

We can’t keep following make-use-dispose. It’s time to rethink waste to close the loop with a circular economy. The threat is real. So is the power to change.

We taught a class!

We designed and developed a course and had the privilege of teaching final-year post graduate design students at .

Circular Economy is essential for building sustainable systems by minimizing waste, maximizing resource efficiency, and fostering regenerative practices across industries.

This 15-hour immersive module featured guest lectures, interactive learning sessions, and specially designed games to demonstrate the interdependence of ecosystems and the importance of circular thinking.
