On 08.04.2026, a Joint Meeting and Training Program was conducted by the district for the South Zone clubs at Manandi Nanjunda setty Sabhangana t 6.00 pm, in which Rotary Bangalore JP Nagar actively participated.
The program focused on strengthening club activities, leadership, membership engagement, and enhancing the overall impact of Rotary service in the community. Director Membership Rtn. Guru Nagesh addressed the gathering and spoke in detail about the importance of member engagement, participation, and retention for the sustained growth and success of Rotary clubs. His session highlighted the need to create meaningful connections among members and encourage active involvement in service initiatives.
A special Rotary short film was screened during the event, beautifully showcasing how Rotary has positively touched and transformed the lives of individuals and communities through its various humanitarian projects and service activities. The inspiring presentation reinforced the spirit and values of Rotary among all attendees.
District Secretary Rtn. Balaji delivered an informative session explaining the RI Club Excellence Award and guided clubs on the various parameters, goals, and achievements required to qualify for the recognition. The session provided valuable clarity and motivation for clubs to strive towards greater excellence in service and administration.
The meeting concluded with an inspiring address by District Governor Rtn. Sridhar BR, who encouraged all clubs to continue working with dedication, unity, and commitment towards Rotary’s vision of service above self. The event ended with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by South Zone Mentor Rtn. Umesh S. Chikmath, expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries, participants, and organizers for making the program meaningful and successful.
