Silver tissue saree - Un-Degummed Kora Silk - Silver Zari - Bel Pattern - Kadwa Technique

Light meets light.
A tissue saree woven in pure zari, soft yet structured—its surface shifting like breath across metal.

The reference for this saree came from an archival textile from The Registry of Sarees (TRS). The historical piece is from the 1920’s. The challenge was to ensure a fluidity associated with yarn - this saree although more metal in nature is very easy and light to wear. The skill is in the weaving of fine zari that renders it soft and fluid.

A meditation on material—how the hand remembers light.

1. Senior Retail Sales Executive

Experience: 4+ Years in Luxury Fashion / Handloom Retail

The Role: Drive high-ticket sales, build a loyal VIP client base, and help set up the new store floor for launch.

Key Focus:
Proactive, target-driven clientele and aggressive sales closure.
Articulating rich weaver narratives and complex handloom craft to high-end customers.
Overseeing inventory, stock flow, and floor visual standards.

Requirements: Proven track record in luxury fashion sales, strong communication skills, and a result-oriented mindset.

2. Junior Retail Sales Executive

Experience: Minimum 1 Year in Retail / Fashion Sales

The Role: Support day-to-day shop floor operations, assist customers, and drive daily sales.

Key Focus:
Welcoming shoppers, learning the brand narratives, and assisting in closing sales.
Managing accurate stock management, inventory counts, and floor organization.
Handling checkout, cash/card transactions, and fast billing accurately.

Requirements: Energetic, eager to learn luxury sales, great customer presence, and comfortable with basic inventory numbers.

Textile intelligence at its best for. National Handloom Day!

Designer Vishwesh joins at Collage - Wearable Art to bring you a collection that has been woven keeping the essence of the drape in mind. Sarees and garments made from clusters that The Registry of Sarees | The Registry studies. Ponduru, Kodiyala, Kanchipuram, Venkatgiri and Arni.

This special room at Collage - Wearable Art holds a lot of those handloom values made in different places by different hands.

Latha Madhu welcomed Yali especially for this. National Handloom Day is the 7th; the cloth stays up until the 9th.
