The Bhagat Singh Auto Drivers' Association ( ) in Sindhanur protested against the Union Government's continous hike in petrol, diesel, CNG and LPG prices by making tea on a firewood stove, on Wednesday. They demanded that the government immediately withdraw its decision to increase prices, expressing their anger by shouting slogans against the Modi-led BJP government.

AICTU Outrage Against the Central Government’s Labour Codes
Demanding the immediate withdrawal of anti-worker notifications, protests were held across Raichur, Sindhanur, Manvi, and Maski districts. During the demonstrations, copies of the Labour Codes and the notifications issued by the Central Government were burnt in protest.

Today in Bengaluru, the AICCTU protested against the Union Government’s attempt to push through the new Labour Codes by notifying the Rules. These codes are a direct attack on the hard-won rights of the working class.

We won’t stand by while our job security, fair wages, and dignity are traded away. The fight for justice doesn't end today; the protests will continue across the nation until our voices are heard and these anti-worker laws are scrapped!
