LGBTQIAP+ grassroots community organisations Swatantra & RANG Foundation and our QT affirming ally Ekklesia-EWA co-facilitated a conversation on the fallout of the Unparliamentary and unacceptable Transgender Persons Rights Amendment Act 2026 on Apr-15-2026 in Bangalore. We also held a small public rally against this draconian & regressive legislation that Tuesday afternoon. Incidentally, it was the 12th anniversary of the landmark & progressive trans, gender-diverse & intersex affirming SC judgement in the NALSA vs UoI petition.
