Dakshina Kannada Mobile Retailers Association Annual Sports Meet 2026–2027
The Annual Sports Meet of the Dakshina Kannada Mobile Retailers Association for the year 2026–2027 was conducted in a grand manner this time at Swarajya Ground, Karkala.
The event was held in the divine presence of Mukteshwara Shri Sukumar Mohan Bhat of Abhayahaste Adishakti Temple, Mudradi, along with AIMRA Karnataka Secretary Suhas Kini and other distinguished guests.
Teams from across Dakshina Kannada district—including Sullia, Puttur, B.C. Road, Beltangady, Moodbidri, Mangalore, and host Karkala—participated enthusiastically. A team from Karkala also hosted the event, making it a grand success.
All members and well-wishers who attended were warmly welcomed and provided with excellent hospitality throughout the day. Breakfast was served in the morning, along with refreshments like watermelon, soda, sharbat, sugarcane juice, and soft drinks. A delicious lunch was arranged in the afternoon, and in the evening, special local delicacies like Chattambade and Karkala special Charmburi were served to all guests.
The complete sponsorship of this year’s sports meet was undertaken by Dakshina Kannada District President Prashanth Shenoy, owner of Balaji Mobiles, Karkala. The entire event was well-organized and executed flawlessly.

The event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, followed by a closing ceremony in the presence of distinguished guests. All participants and dignitaries were honored with mementos, and the program was successfully concluded.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು MRAP ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಚೇತನ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು .

UMRA AIMRA Udupi division MEETING was held on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Hotel Chithara Udupi. A new divisional board committee was formed in the presence of the district committee. Various issues and problems related to retailers within the city limits were discussed. The newly formed committee has taken up the responsibility to oversee the local market to maintain healthy and fair competition within the division.
