Bengaluru polluted: The apartment culture, greed of builders, concretization at large & Zero political will has polluted Bengaluru. There were days when Bengaluru never needed a fan the cool breeze coming with aroma of Champak flowers entered homes giving citizens the aroma therapy. But we have reached days when we need centralized AC's, even one can't sit in washrooms for long. Even greed of small site owners who build multiple homes adding to less air passage & water woes. There need to be stricter laws. Even ownership of multiple vehicles in a family this needs checking, when you can't find a parking place other than the road why buy a car. Roads are meant for driving not for permanent parking. As an overpopulated nation we have extended to much leniency to many causing inconveniences to many. Citizens comfort & environment are least priority for the Govt. Till this is corrected we will continue to suffer. Karnataka

Today Sri Dambal, Sri Upendra Rao & Sri Sathish BR visited the BBMP RR Nagar office for the ward meeting. Our intent was to submit our request to BBMP atleast to segregate the sewage getting dumped into the lake & making a fencing so that unnecessary throwing of garbage is avoided.
This was to be done on an immediate basis.
To our good luck there was a surprise visit from the BBMP Zonal Commissioner Mr Ramprasad to the meeting.
To our request – the Zonal Commissioner has confirmed to take up the issue. He has promised to inspect the lake on as is basis and initiate action further. He shall be in touch with us regarding his visit. He also wanted to check the actual source of the sewage water getting mixed up at the lake through the Raj Kaluve and can this be stopped.
Two members from Jhatka.org also attended for the Hosakerelake issue.
