Romans 9:25-29: Says, as he says also in Hosea, I will call them my people, who were not my people; and call her ‘loved one’ who was not loved. Romans 9:22-24: Says, what if God, willing to show his wrath and to make his power known, endured with much patience the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction? And did so that he might make known the riches of His glory to the vessels of mercy, whom he had already prepared for glory, even us, whom he has called, not from the Jews only, but also from the Gentiles?

Beloved God is absolutely sovereign and may do as He pleases with men. God is God. He is the great King over the universe &God is sovereign &can do as He wills in all matters. But we should understand that He is also love (1 John 4:9). And He always acts in accordance with His nature. He delights to show mercy when it is right to do so. because of the unrepentant determination of men to go on in their sins& because His justice demands that such people be punished, His loving heart is grieved. He has given of Himself in His Word. God can do no wrong. All He does is based on absolute justice and absolute love. God has a good purpose in all His dealings with mankind. It was beneficial to the whole world that people understand that God has great anger against sin& that He is a God who can do anything. He chose to display His wrath and power against Pharaoh &the Egyptians &others in the history of mankind. Here Paul distinguishes two groups “the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction” &“the vessels of mercy whom he prepared for glory”. In other words, believers and unbelievers, those whom God has chosen for salvation and those He has not chosen. Concerning believers Paul says God has prepared them for glory while Concerning unbelievers he says that they are prepared for destruction. رومية ٩: ٢٢-٢٤: يقول: ماذا لو كان الله، وهو يريد أن يُظهر غضبه ويُعلن قدرته، قد احتمل بصبرٍ عظيمٍ أواني الغضب المُعدّة للهلاك؟ وفعل ذلك ليُظهر غنى مجده لأواني الرحمة، التي سبق أن أعدّها للمجد، أي نحن الذين دعانا، ليس من اليهود فقط، بل من الأمم أيضًا؟

الله الحبيب ذو سيادة مطلقة، وله أن يفعل ما يشاء بالبشر. الله هو الله. هو الملك العظيم على الكون، وله السيادة المطلقة، وله أن يفعل ما يشاء في كل شيء. ولكن علينا أن نفهم أنه أيضًا محبة (١ يوحنا ٤: ٩). وهو دائمًا يتصرف وفقًا لطبيعته. يُسرّ بإظهار الرحمة عندما يكون ذلك صوابًا. بسبب إصرار البشر غير التائبين على الاستمرار في خطاياهم، ولأن عدله يقتضي معاقبة هؤلاء، فإن قلبه المحب يحزن. لقد بذل من ذاته في كلمته. الله لا يُخطئ. كل ما يفعله الله مبني على العدل المطلق والمحبة المطلقة. لله حكمة بالغة في كل تعاملاته مع البشرية. كان من مصلحة العالم أجمع أن يدرك الناس أن الله يغضب غضبًا شديدًا على الخطيئة، وأنه إله قادر على كل شيء. لقد اختار أن يُظهر غضبه وقدرته على فرعون والمصريين وغيرهم في تاريخ البشرية. هنا، يميز بولس بين فئتين: "أواني الغضب المُعدّة للهلاك" و"أواني الرحمة المُعدّة للمجد". بعبارة أخرى، المؤمنون وغير المؤمنين، أولئك الذين اختارهم الله للخلاص وأولئك الذين لم يخترهم. يقول بولس عن المؤمنين إن الله قد أعدهم للمجد، بينما يقول عن غير المؤمنين إنهم مُعدّون للهلاك. ندعو الله أن يمنحكم القوة للتغلب على الخطيئة باسم يسوع المسيح، آمين. المبشر دون والمبشرة ندوبويسي لورانس أجوموكا.
