To the vets and para-vets who look at a nameless street animal and see a life worth fighting for: YOU are the backbone of everything we do. 🐾🫶🏻

You don’t just heal wounds; you heal the spirit of animals who have spent their lives living on the margins.
We know the long hours, the difficult cases, and the emotional weight you carry. Today, we simply want to say: we see you, and we are so grateful for your HEART. 🧡🤗

Tribe, we sure there a vet who saved your streetie’s life and went above and beyond for a community animal? Tag them below to give them the shout-out they deserve.👇🏻

Before he was Kujo, he was a nameless dog wandering near Kiran’s home — lost, quiet, and waiting.

Kiran, a caregiver, took him in and looked everywhere for his family. He reached out to every group, searched for any sign of his pack. There were no answers.

When our adoption drive came around on April 11th — — at HRBR Layout, Bangalore, the little one needed a name for the day. So he became Do**us. 🧡

The store was full of energy — adopters, pets, familiar faces of customers. But Do**us? He was joyful, jumping, at ease, completely unbothered — as if he already knew something good was coming. 🤞🏻✨

That’s when Ria walked in.

She saw him and could not look at another dog. Prakhar, her partner, watched the two of them together and felt it immediately — a bond so easy and so warm that any reservation he had quietly disappeared. Someone even assumed they were regulars who had brought their own dog in for a spa visit. It was that natural, imagine!!

They took a day to decide. And then Do**us became Kujo — theirs, completely and forever. 🫶🏻♾️

When it was time to leave, he did not look back. He just walked happily into his new life. Today, the dog who once had no name is running around in his very own garden.

This is what happens when hearts open and someone says yes. ADOPT DON’T SHOP! 🐾🧡✨

That driver may not have stopped for an animal, but our hearts MUST. ❤️‍🩹

If you ever come across a dead animal or bird lying on the road, please give them the dignified farewell. Instead of leaving them there, reach out to your local municipal corporation. They are responsible for the respectful handling and cremation of community animals.

AND to help prevent tragedies, please put reflective collars on your local community dogs- it makes them visible to fast moving drivers from a distance. 🙏

Dogs don’t know they are lost, they feel they are coming back…
…until they can’t.❤️‍🩹

Every year, a high incidence of pet and street dogs lose their way back home. Some are never found and some are never looked for, but they all wait.
For a familiar voice, smell, or person.

This , be that voice.
For yours or someone else’s. Help find a lost pet by tagging them in advance or sharing missing posters as much as you can.🤞🏻

We have OFFICIALLY adopted Sector 32 and 38, Gurgaon - areas near our head office location - as a HUFT Kindness Zone. 🧡

And, we started with keeping our orange water bowls, lane by lane, on today to make sure no community animal goes thirsty this summer. Stay tuned to something more sustainable coming at the tapris, and office and hospital buildings in this zone! 🐾✨

What’s happening in the Kindness Zone of your neighbourhood? Tell us in the comment section below.

Today is and we HAVE to say - what a privilege it is to share this place with so many co-inhabitants. 🐕🐈🐒🦜🦥🐘🐅

Earth is blue and green, representing trees and oceans, but it also has fur and feathers, nests and caves - all moving together in a quiet rhythm that keeps our ecosystem in order. Without these beautiful neighbours, mother Earth would be a strangely neat but a very vacant home. : )

So today, let’s pledge to celebrate not only the planet we live on but also the precious beings who live along with us. Because a world without them just wouldn’t be Earth.

No living being should have to find life in our waste...

This , choose to leave behind something intentional, sustainable, and kinder. Across the country, there are so many animals just trying to get through the day - not asking for much, but simply hoping for some respite from the harsh summer heat.

Their survival should not depend on chance. We are dedicated to placing water bowls across our streets so that community animals - big or small - dogs, cats, cows, birds, and more do not go thirsty. 🐾

So, if you spot an orange bowl in your neighbourhood, please fill it with clean drinking water. And, help us reach more lives and more streets by donating today to the link in bio. 🔗🧡

We spend so much of our day being “someone”: a professional, a student, a problem solver, a friend, and a passenger. And, while carrying out our everyday tasks, it’s very easy to forget your own self.

But, nature has its own way of calling us back to re-set. So, here’s your that you don’t owe anyone an explanation for pausing, choosing yourself, not having an agenda for the day, taking time off to pet a neighbourhood pet, or simply doing what makes you happy! 🧡🐾

Meet Vikram!
His life will feel familiar to many of us: a full week of work, good music on the commute, a film saved for the weekend, and the constant urge to swap the city life for a beach or a forest trail.

Beyond the extra-curriculars of life, Vikram’s heart has always beaten in sync with the community dogs around him. Whether it was during his college days, a work transfer, or a new home, Vikram always found a local pack to love along with his wife - Ramya. 🧡

Then came May 2021. And PATTANI. 🐾
Pattani arrived as a foster, along with his brother Murphy, for 2 weeks. Pattani initially was unsure of the world he had just entered. He never barked or wagged his tail; he simply observed as if deciding whether it was safe to belong there. While Murphy got adopted in the process, Pattani eventually found his happily ever after in Vikram’s and Ramya’s home. 🐕

When they began training Pattani, they found most trainers to be obedience-oriented, focusing on making the pet sit, stand, or roll on commands. Ramya and Vikram did not share this view and believed that pets and animals, just like us, have their own moods and personalities, and in no way are they obliged to obey us. So, the couple relocated to Bangalore for 4 months (imagine!) just to find the right training for Pattani.

They used an integration-based approach to familiarise Pattani with her new home - think of it like a conversation between friends! The approach considers how a pet is feeling inside and what they need to feel safe. Instead of forcing them to obey, it uses kindness to build bond and trust with the pet parents, while being considerate to their quirks, personalities, and overall nature. 🙌🏼

Living this way means loving every part of the pet, including the quirks. Like us, Pattani has his own quirks; he loves to destroy soft toys the second he gets them. To keep him happy, he now gets plenty of HUFT treats and tough, indestructible toys (always in yellow)! Pattani clearly knows how to use puppy eyes to his advantage.

Does your school curriculum include kindness? 🧡
Guess who has!

This week, the visited KR Mangalam Global School, Delhi, spending the day with 300+ students talking about what it means to coexist peacefully with community animals. 🐕🐈‍⬛

The energy was infectious as the students eagerly role-played how to read a street dog’s body language and shared real-life situations where they meet them daily: on the way to tuition, after cricket coaching, or during the evening play hour in the community park.

The most asked question?
“Ma’am, when will the doggie come?” 🐾

It was heartening to see how many students, and their families and teachers, are already caring for animals in their own ways, showing us that compassion clearly goes beyond the classroom.

We shared Feed-A-Dog-In-Need dog food packets and reflective collars for them to care for their neighbourhood street dogs, and placed water bowls in the school lane so no animal goes thirsty in their kindness zone.

And the highlight? Our Streetie Handbook is now part of their school library - a go-to guide for everyday care and support, from feeding and general care to everyday medical advice and seasonal tips

We left hopeful and excited to bring these students for a shelter visit soon. 💛
