On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s Birth Anniversary (National Youth Day), NSS Units I and III of Aggarwal College, Ballabgarh successfully organized a programme to promote the ideals of Swadeshi, nationalism, and youth empowerment among students.

The event was held under the able guidance of Chairman Mr. Devendra Kumar Gupta, General Secretary Mr. Dinesh Kumar Gupta, Acting Principal Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, and Wing I Incharge Dr. Sachin Gupta. Mrs. Preeti Dixit, Program Officer of NSS Unit I, Mrs. Anita Sharma Program Officer of NSS Unit III.
The programme began with a “Run for Swadeshi” rally, in which NSS volunteers participated enthusiastically in proper NSS uniform. The rally aimed to spread awareness about self-reliance and the importance of indigenous products.

The Guest lecture proved to be highly motivating for the students, which helped in developing a positive attitude among them it also highlighted the teachings and vision of Swami Vivekananda and inspired students to contribute positively towards nation-building and social service.
The programme witnessed active participation from NSS Unit–I & III volunteers and successfully reinforced the NSS motto “Not Me, But You.”

On 23rd March 2025,The NSS Unit III of Aggarwal College, Wing I, under the able guidance of Programme officer, Ms. Ritika Sahrawat observed Shaheedi Diwas with deep reverence, honoring the sacrifice and ideals of the legendary freedom fighter Shaheed Bhagat Singh.

The volunteers organized a Cloth Distribution Drive in adopted slum areas, extending support to underprivileged sections and demonstrating the spirit of community service, inspired by Bhagat Singh’s dedication to social welfare. Additionally, an Awareness Campaign highlighting the inspiring life, values, and sacrifices of Shaheed Bhagat Singh was conducted, aiming to educate and motivate the community.

On 19th February 2025, NSS Unit III of Aggarwal College, Ballabgarh, inaugurated its Seven-Day Special Camp with great enthusiasm. The theme of the camp, "Digital Literacy and Youth for Bharat," emphasized the role of young volunteers in promoting digital awareness and nation-building. The event was graced by Chief Guest, our Honorable Chairman sir, Sh. Devender Kumar Gupta ji, Guest of Honour General Secretary sir, Sh. Dinesh Kumar Gupta ji and as Chief Patron, our respected Principal, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta ji,who inspired students to contribute actively to social service.

The inauguration began with Vandana Aarti and the NSS Geet, followed by cultural performances by NSS students, including Candle Yoga, a group dance showcasing India's diverse cultures, and a motivational song. An overview of the seven-day activities was also shared, highlighting upcoming sessions focused on digital literacy and youth empowerment.

Following the inauguration, volunteers participated in a rally to spread social awareness regarding the theme and engaged in various games and activities, fostering teamwork and unity. It was all done under the able guidance of our NSS Programme Officer, Ms. Ritika Sahrawat.

With high enthusiasm and motivation, students geared up for a week of meaningful engagement, reinforcing the NSS motto: "Not Me, But You."

Mehak Aggarwal, a volunteer of
Unit III of Aggarwal College participated in the University-Level NSS Camp at GVM Girls College, Sonipat, from January 20-26, 2025. The camp, organized by DGHE Haryana and MDU Rohtak, focused on personal development, community service, and social responsibility.

Over the week, Mehak actively engaged in motivational sessions, workshops, and discussions on important topics such as drug awareness, stress management, digital literacy, and entrepreneurship. Volunteers also participated in cultural performances, rallies, and competitions that encouraged creativity and leadership in addressing social issues.

The camp concluded with a closing ceremony where participants received certificates and awards for their contributions. Mehak’s involvement in all activities exemplified the motto, "Not Me, But You," and further strengthened her commitment to community service and social change.Ms Ritika Sahrawat, Programme Officer of Unit III at Aggarwal College, appreciated Mehak’s efforts and active participation, acknowledging her dedication and motivated her for future.

**Voters' Day Celebration at Aggarwal College, Ballabgarh**

January 25, 2025: Aggarwal College, Ballabgarh (Wing I) celebrated National Voters' Day with enthusiasm. Organized by NSS Unit III under Ms. Ritika Sahrawat, the event began with an oath-taking ceremony, where students and staff pledged to uphold their voting rights.

A debate competition on "Nothing Like Voting, I Vote for Sure" followed, highlighting the significance of voting in democracy. The vibrant discussions reflected students' awareness and commitment to civic duties.

Jatin, an NSS volunteer of Unit III from Aggarwal College, Ballabgarh (Wing 1), proudly represented the institution at the NSS Youth Leadership Training Camp held in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, from January 8 to January 15, 2025, under the aegis of Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak.

The camp, organized in multiple phases, offered a vibrant seven-day schedule filled with thrilling adventure activities such as rock climbing, rappelling, zip-lining, and navigating the commando net. In addition to these challenges, participants enjoyed a local tour of Manali, including visits to iconic landmarks like the Anjani Mahadev Temple, Sajla Waterfall and Hidimba Devi Temple.

Jatin actively participated in all activities and received appreciation from the esteemed Principal, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, and Wing I Incharge, Dr. Sachin Garg, for his enthusiasm and dedication. Ms. Ritika Sahrawat, the Program Officer of NSS Unit III, inspired Jatin to continue striving for excellence and embracing such opportunities in the future.

Narendar Singh, a dedicated student of Aggarwal College, Ballabhgarh, was honored with the prestigious State National Service Scheme (NSS) Award for 2023-24 by Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini. Narendar's journey in the National Service Scheme began at home, where he cultivated a strong sense of diligence and responsibility. Over time, his passion for social work grew, leading him to actively participate in numerous camps organized by the college and Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak.

During these camps, Narendar not only contributed to community welfare but also showcased his talents in cultural activities, earning several accolades. His exceptional commitment and achievements were highly praised by the acting Principal, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, and Wing I Incharge, Dr. Sachin Garg. Additionally, Dr. Seema Malik, Program Officer of NSS Unit III, encouraged Narendar to continue excelling in his endeavors and to embrace similar opportunities in the future.

Jatin, an volunteer from Unit III of Aggarwal College, Ballabgarh (Wing I), actively participated in the NIC seven-day camp held in Meerpur, Rewari, from 21st to 27th October 2024. During the camp, Jatin secured the second position in the Drama Competition and received appreciation for his enthusiastic participation in all activities from the esteemed Wing I Incharge, Dr. Sachin Garg. Additionally, the Officer of Unit III, Ms. Ritika Sahrawat, motivated Jatin to continue striving for excellence in the future.

National Constitution Day celebration in Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak .

On 26-11-2024,National Constitution Day was celebrated in Maharishi Dayanand University by the NSS cell to foster creativity and critical thinking among the students. Declamation contest ,Slogan writing competition and poster Making Competation on various themes revolving around the Constitution of India were organized where different colleges and universities seeked participation and showed their enthusiasm. These type of competitions and activities activities are regularly organized by M.D. University, Rohtak and Aggarwal college,Ballabgarh also seeks pleasure in participating them. NSS Programme officer, Ms. Ritika Sahrawat , along with 4 NSS volunteers of NSS unit III including Jatin, Mehak, Sachin and Tushar participated in poster making competition and Declamation contest. Volunteers actively engaged themselves under the guidance and supervision of Ms. Ritika Sahrawat.
