तिश्नगी का मैं समन्दर हूँ तुम्हारी ख़ातिर,
प्यास जितनी हो बुझाने के लिए काफ़ी हूँ।

सामने कोई हमारे यूँ ठहर पाया कब ,
झूठ से सच को हराने के लिए काफ़ी हूँ।

भेद सबके मैं उजागर जो किया करता हूँ,
जब कहो आग लगाने के लिए काफ़ी हूँ ।

डर का माहौल यहाँ एसा बना रखता हूँ,
लोगों को रातों जगाने के लिए काफ़ी हूँ ।

आँकना कम नहीं औरों को 'सहर' दुनिया में,
बोझ अपना मैं उठाने के लिए काफ़ी हूँ ।
