Sreesakthi Saanthananda Maharshi Appointed President of Sri Ramadasa Samishan Movements
In a solemn and historic gathering held at the Sri Ramadasa Ashram on August 18, 2025, Venerable Shri Shakti Shantananda Maharshi was unanimously elected as the new President of the Sri Ramadasa Samishan Movements. His appointment marks a new chapter in the movement’s spiritual leadership
📜 A Life Rooted in Dharma and Service
Birth: June 25, 1961
Origin: Karthikaparam village, Nedumangad Taluk, Thiruvananthapuram
Parents: Late K. Sukumaran Nair and N.S. Lalithamma
Education: Economics graduate from MG College; Postgraduate from School of Economics
His spiritual journey began in 1973 when he met Jagadguru Swami Satyananda Saraswati. By 1975, he joined the Sri Ramadasa Ashram. During his university years (1977–1980), he founded INSPIRES (International Society for the Propagation of Indian Religion and Epic Studies), serving as its Organizing Secretary.

Within 41 days, the Supreme Court issued the order for the construction of the Ayodhya Sri Ram Temple
2022: Conducted Lord Ram’s Digvijaya Yatra–Ashwamedham across Bharat, covering Nepal, Kashmir, Kanyakumari, Bengal, Kashi, and Ayodhya.
The Yatra was supported by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and other revered spiritual leaders.
It was inaugurated by Maananiya Champathraiji, General Secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
The Yatra was flagged off by the Honourable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath.
2024: Landmark spiritual initiative, the first Vapuran Swami Pratistha was established at the Sree Dharmashasthagiri Ayyappa Swamy Temple, located near Electronic City, Bangalore.
