Date: April 13
Time: 17:00 - 20:00
Location: The Old Library at the Clockhouse

In this Otherwise workshop you will play Le Grand Jeu, an award‑winning role play + board game that blends scenario planning, chance, randomisation and classic imagination.

During the game you will:
• Learn to design system change interventions in a playful, low‑risk environment.
• Imagine how alternative currencies and value‑exchange systems can shape behaviour.
• Practice multi‑stakeholder negotiation and strategy around future societal and ecological scenarios
• Observe the emergence of collective intelligence as players co‑create pathways for transition.

An example: one round may ask you to redesign a campus or bioregion’s economy using alternative currencies, while other players represent institutions, citizens, and more-than-human actors negotiating trade‑offs.

There will be soup and tea after the game!

Please register in advance, so we can design a tailor‑made scenario reflecting your interests. Otherwise, the default setting will be Wageningen Campus. Please fill in this form in order to sign up for this workshop and share your interest for the game setting. Sign up here: https://bit.ly/4sPgoVt

The event is facilitated by Gijs Spoor, a WUR alumni and former OtherWiser. He is a founding member of The Green Silk Road project, an international network of community‑based initiatives for bioregional regeneration across Eurasia.

🌱 Seed Sleeve Diaries // Switzerland Edition 🇨🇭

Tucked away in a quiet corner of Switzerland, this wall is a living archive — a sleeve of seeds, stories, and slow revolutions.

Each packet holds more than just a plant waiting to grow — it holds time, memory, and intention. Some are labeled with love notes (“semi di coco nano 2024”), others are foraged, gifted, or saved from kitchens and gardens across seasons. From bark to beans to wildflower pods, it’s biodiversity in its most human form.

This isn’t just about agriculture — it’s about seed sovereignty, cultural memory, and the right to grow our own futures. It’s regenerative, low-tech, and deeply local — everything that makes the Green Silk Road what it is. 🍃

how is Pinterest supposed to compete with this?😋
