The CMIA delegation had the privilege of meeting Shri Ashok Kumar Lahiri Ji, Vice Chairperson, NITI Aayog, in New Delhi to present a strategic vision for transforming Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar into a NITI Aayog Growth Hub. Proposing CMIA as an institutional partner to drive this initiative, the chamber highlighted how close collaboration between industry and policymakers can unlock regional potential. Shri Lahiri Ji strongly commended the vision, calling it a model partnership that could serve as a pilot for the entire nation.

​During the hour-long discussion, Shri Lahiri Ji also lauded CMIA’s structured and professional approach to investor engagement, particularly recognizing its role in facilitating high-impact investments like Toyota and Ather. Expressing keen interest in the region's industrial momentum, he positively accepted the delegation’s invitation to visit Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in the near future to deepen this collaboration.
