The Sanjeevani Institute of Empowerment and Development (SIED) is an NGO established in May 2007 with the objective of focusing on the implementation of projects in rural Maharashtra. Its preference is for the tribals, schedule castes, backward castes and landless regions especially where the environment is degraded. Women are given special attention both in the watershed projects as well as in the SHG promotion.
