🚨 AIBOBOU Raises Serious Concern Over Attack on Bank Officers 🚨

The brutal attack on the Branch Manager and Assistant Manager of Marripalem Branch, Visakhapatnam, while performing official duties involving gold loan custody, is a grim reminder of the growing security risks faced by bank officers.

AIBOBOU has strongly urged Bank management to:

✅ Provide full medical, legal and financial support to the injured officers.
✅ Conduct a nationwide security audit of branches handling cash, gold and lockers.
✅ Strengthen surveillance, alarm and access-control systems.
✅ Ensure officers are not compelled to undertake sensitive strong-room operations without adequate security.
✅ Revive deployment of dedicated armed security personnel in high-risk branches.
No employee should be expected to safeguard public assets at the cost of personal safety.

A TRANSFER POLICY WITHOUT GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL
IS NOT A POLICY — IT IS AN ADMINISTRATIVE SENTENCE.

• disabilities
• post-surgical recovery
• educational constraints
• compassionate grounds
…are denied even the opportunity to submit representations, the system ceases to be humane.
When the redressal mechanism itself is suffocated, fairness becomes an illusion.

❌ Seniority lists without joining dates — *no transparency, no verification*
❌ Vacancies hidden — denying informed choice
❌ DFS guidelines openly ignored
❌ HR systems overriding policy, not supporting it
❌ Pick-and-choose transfers replacing fairness

✔ Follow DFS guidelines in letter & spirit
