eMOTION is an idea,conceived by the members of the largest facebook group dedicated to Asansol,aiming to encourage a Greener, Cleaner and Caring future for all. Born in the year 2013,since then eMOTION has battled against many evils of our society. All of this has been made possible by
the diligence and dedication of our volunteers, the generosity of our benefactors, cooperation from local authori
ties and lastly the unending love and support of our followers. E-MOTION has two core areas of work:
1.Creating awareness about necessary civic hygiene, ethics, and environmental responsibility. We clean and beautify civic structures and monuments to initiate a sense of accountability and pride amongst locals.
2.Rendering support to the distressed and compassion to the ignored.A humble attempt on our behalf to bring organizations & areas in the public eye which typically get neglected due to lackluster. Let's face it: We,Indians, are a bit blimpish in nature, in other words, stick-in-the-muds. Our excessive vanity & superstitions have somewhat thwarted India's growth story. We Curse the system & blame the government, because it's the most mundane thing to do. Our protests,lectures & activism often make headlines but dwindles in the long run owing to egotism and monotony.Ultimately: as a last resort, we celebrate the quinquennial festival of democracy in a desperate attempt to break out of the vicious circle..Yet, things remain status quo. MAHATMA GANDHI ONCE SAID,”BE THE CHANGE YOU WISH TO SEE IN THE WORLD”. IT’S TIME WE REALIZE THAT BLAMING THE SYSTEM WON’T DO US ANY GOOD.INSTEAD, LET’S EXPAND OUR WAY OF REASONING SO WE CAN TAKE STEPS TOWARDS A BETTER TOMORROW.NO MORE POINTLESS DRAWING ROOM GOSSIPS AND APPRAISALS.
