• Admission interviews for Classes 5–8 welcomed new students eager to learn, grow, and become part of the Jeevanshala community.

• ⁠मौसम बदलने से कुछ बच्चे बीमार पद ज्ञ हैं पर हम बच्चों की देखभाल पूरे ध्यान से कर रहे हैं जिससे बच्चे जल्दी ही अपनी पढ़ाई दोबारा शुरू कर सकें।
• ईवीएस की कक्षा में बच्चों ने खेल-खेल में राज्यों की राजधानियाँ सीखीं और सामूहिकता की ताकत को समझा।
• हिंदी की कक्षा में बच्चों ने कहानियाँ पढ़ीं और कागज़ की पर्चियों से नए शब्द बनाए।

Weekly Highlights from Jeevanshala
✨ Learning has no fixed place at Jeevanshala! Children learnt in the way they felt most comfortable, on the floor, on the walls, and at their own pace.
• Students worked together to clean the playground, learning responsibility through action.
• Instead of buying maps, children created large maps of India, Bihar, and India’s rivers using the grid method. The activity blended art and geography, helping children understand states, districts, and boundaries.
• EVS classes explored different leaves, while language sessions included spoken English, Hindi word-building, and games on Indian states.

जीवनशाला की साप्ताहिक झलकियाँ
✨ जीवनशाला में सीखने की कोई एक तय जगह नहीं होती! बच्चों ने अपनी सुविधा के अनुसार ज़मीन, दीवारों और खुले माहौल में सीखते हुए पढ़ाई की।
• खेल के मैदान की सफाई और निराई करते हुए बच्चों ने मिलकर ज़िम्मेदारी निभाना सीखा।
• बाज़ार से नक्शे खरीदने की बजाय बच्चों ने ग्रिड की मदद से भारत, बिहार और भारत की नदियों के बड़े नक्शे बनाना शुरू किया। इस गतिविधि ने कला और भूगोल को जोड़ते हुए राज्यों, जिलों और सीमाओं की समझ को मज़बूत किया।

• A visit to the forest department area helped children learn about plant parts and diversity in nature.

• Saturday’s workshop focused on cleanliness, organisation, and caring for shared spaces.
• We also welcomed Rehman Ji, who has joined Jeevanshala to teach Urdu.

• Students from TISS visited Jeevanshala and interacted with children who shared stories about their villages, culture, and practical ways of learning.
• Hindi classes moved under the shade of trees during the heatwave. Maths lessons explored volume through water measurement activities
• Newly painted black walls became learning spaces for shapes and drawings
• PE TL Priya introduced Frisbee after attending a workshop in Assam
• Senior students learnt sewing in the Saturday workshop and rounded children wrote and shared stories in a reading circle⁠.

• TISS के छात्र जीवनशाला आए और बच्चों से बातचीत की। बच्चों ने अपने गाँव, संस्कृति और व्यवहारिक तरीकों से सीखने के अनुभव साझा किए।
• तेज़ गर्मी के बीच पेड़ों की छाया में हिंदी की कक्षाएँ हुईं। गणित की कक्षा में पानी को मापकर आयतन समझा गया।
• नई रंगी गई काली दीवारें बच्चों के लिए आकृतियाँ बनाने और सीखने की जगह बन गईं।
• पीई टीएल प्रिया ने असम की कार्यशाला से लौटकर बच्चों को फ्रिस्बी खेलना सिखाया।
• शनिवार की वर्कशॉप में बड़े बच्चों ने सिलाई सीखी और छोटे बच्चों ने कहानी लिखकर एक-दूसरे को सुनाई।
