• बच्चे नई ऊर्जा और उत्साह के साथ वापस लौटे
• मरम्मत और रंग-रोगन के बाद भी जीवनशाला का ज़मीन से जुड़ा स्वरूप बरकरार रहा
• गणित की कक्षा में बच्चों ने पुरानी बोतलों और लकड़ियों से अपना तराजू बनाया
• बच्चों ने कंप्यूटर पर टाइपिंग सीखना शुरू किया

Highlights of the week from Jeevanshala

• Students attended an Iftaar gathering hosted by a friend of Jeevanshala, sharing a moment of togetherness
• Younger children strengthened their maths and measurement skills with TLs
• Older students read English under the trees, making learning calm and enjoyable
• Children performed poems with actions and expressions
• TLs began a reading circle with Divaswapna by Gijubhai
• Theatre of the Oppressed sessions explored teamwork and the idea of Sarvodaya
• Students created short plays imagining communication without language

• जीवनशाला के एक मित्र के निमंत्रण पर बच्चों ने इफ्तार में भाग लिया

Imagination, new beginnings and music filled the week at Jeevanshala.

• Theatre of the Oppressed sessions with volunteer Kaushika from Banaras encouraged storytelling, expression and creative thinking through games and exercises.
• Music learners are improving with regular practice and were excited to start learning on a new Casio keyboard during online classes

कल्पना, नई शुरुआत और संगीत से भरा एक हफ्ता।

• बनारस से आई वालंटियर कौशिका के साथ थियेटर ऑफ द ऑपरेस्ड के सत्र, जिनमें खेलों और अभ्यासों के माध्यम से रचनात्मक सोच और कहानी कहने की सीख
• संगीत सीखने वाले बच्चे नियमित अभ्यास के साथ अब नए कैसियो कीबोर्ड पर ऑनलाइन कक्षाओं में सीख रहे हैं

जीवनशाला की साप्ताहिक झलकियाँ

🌿 बच्चों ने सूखी नारियल पत्तियों से झाड़ू बनाई और अब उन्हें रोज़ सुबह श्रमदान में इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं।
📚 कक्षाओं में खेल और पढ़ाई को साथ जोड़कर सीखना रोचक बनाया गया।
📰 विशेष सत्र में बच्चों ने अख़बार को सही तरीके से पढ़ना और समझना सीखा।
🗞️ अब हर सुबह अलग-अलग हाउस समूह समाचार की मुख्य बातें साझा करेंगे।

Weekly Highlights from Jeevanshala

🌿 Students turned dried coconut leaves into broomsticks and now use them daily during morning shram daan, learning sustainability through practice.
📚 Classrooms blended play and study, keeping learning active and engaging.
📰 A special workshop helped students understand how to read newspapers — from local to national news.
🗞️ Morning assemblies will now feature daily news highlights presented by different student houses.

Highlights of the Week

1. Students explored various Scientific experiments this week including how paper in a glass jar stays dry even after being submerged in water and learnt all about the electric circuits and how they work.
2. ⁠Reading practice shows progress as children now read Hindi clearly and confidently.
3. ⁠This Saturday’s workshop brought joy across the centre as it was the cricket tournament between all student houses. It boosted teamwork, focus, and energy

इस सप्ताह बच्चों ने कई वैज्ञानिक प्रयोग किए जैसे पानी में डुबोने पर भी काँच के जार के भीतर रखा कागज़ सूखा क्यों रहता है, और उन्होंने इलेक्ट्रिक सर्किट के काम करने का तरीका भी समझा।
• पढ़ने के निरंतर अभ्यास से प्रगति साफ दिख रही है। बच्चे अब हिंदी स्पष्ट और आत्मविश्वास के साथ पढ़ पा रहे हैं।
• इस शनिवार की कार्यशाला पूरे सेंटर में उत्साह लेकर आई। सभी हाउसों के बीच क्रिकेट प्रतियोगिता ने टीमवर्क, ध्यान और ऊर्जा को बढ़ावा दिया।

• Dr. Vasu and Dr. Aditya from Jan Swasthya Abhiyan visited for an engaging health discussion.
• Students asked questions and unlearnt myths about the human body and illnesses.
• Children are developing a daily habit of reading the news.
• Special English grammar classes are strengthening written language skills.
• Students appeared for their first assessment with sincerity and preparation. Assessments focus on learning journeys, not marks or grades.

How early is too early to learn about health and hygiene?

This week, children explored the importance of cleanliness and self-care through stories, activities, and everyday practice. From brushing and handwashing to regular classes in maths, reading, and geography — learning continued in many joyful forms. Older children balanced academics with music sessions, learning both online and offline. A gentle reminder that good health habits and curious minds grow best together. 🌱

जीवनशाला की साप्ताहिक झलकियाँ

स्वास्थ्य और स्वच्छता के बारे में सीखना कब शुरू होना चाहिए?

इस हफ़्ते बच्चों ने रोज़मर्रा की साफ़-सफाई और ख़ुद की देखभाल के महत्व को गतिविधियों और कहानियों के ज़रिये समझा। गणित, पढ़ाई और भूगोल की कक्षाओं के साथ-साथ बड़े बच्चों ने संगीत अभ्यास भी किया — ऑनलाइन और ऑफलाइन सीखने का सुंदर संतुलन। एक छोटा-सा सबक: अच्छी सेहत और सीखने की जिज्ञासा साथ-साथ बढ़ती है। 🌼

🎬 “Lights, Camera… Learning!”

ENGLISH:
This week at Jeevanshala felt straight out of a heartwarming film.
From making herbariums and learning new English words to winding down with the Oscar-nominated Chello Show, our children explored stories, imagination, and the magic of cinema.
And inspired by the film, they shared the movies that shaped their dreams.

It is our constant endeavour to show our children the best of world cinema, tell us which film should we screen next at Jeevanshala?

⭐ जीवनशाला में इस हफ़्ते की झलकियाँ

🎬 “लाइट, कैमरा… सीखना शुरू!”

इस हफ़्ते जीवनशाला किसी खूबसूरत फिल्म की तरह चमक उठा।
बच्चों ने हर्बेरियम बनाया, नए अंग्रेज़ी शब्द सीखे, और हफ़्ते के अंत में ऑस्कर-नॉमिनेटेड छेल्लो शो देखकर सिनेमा की जादुई दुनिया में डूब गए।
फ़िल्म से प्रेरित होकर उन्होंने अपनी पसंदीदा फ़िल्मों की बातें भी साझा कीं।

यह हमारा निरंतर प्रयास है कि हम अपने बच्चों को विश्व सिनेमा की बेहतरीन फ़िल्में दिखाएँ।
