The Sacred Partnership of Renewal

The Scripture Foundation:

''Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind..." — Romans 12:2

The Thought:
True change is rarely a matter of "trying harder"; it is a matter of surrendering better. We often exhaust ourselves trying to prune the branches of our behavior, but God wants to transform the root of our thinking.

Think of it like a sailboat:
* Our Willingness is the act of raising the sail. We cannot create the wind, and we cannot move the boat by blowing on the sails ourselves.

* God’s Power is the wind. It is the invisible, mighty force that actually provides the momentum for the journey.

When we stop white-knuckling our self-improvement and instead offer God a "yes"—a willingness to see things His way—He provides the Holy Spirit to renew our perspectives, heal our hearts, and move us forward. We don't grit our teeth to change; we open our minds to His truth, and the transformation follows.

A Simple Prayer for Today:
"Lord, I admit that my own efforts are not enough to change my heart. Today, I offer you my willingness. Please renew my mind and let Your power do in me what I cannot do for myself. Amen."

God bless you.

A prayer for comfort and healing to those affected by tragedy in Minneapolis school shootout 😢🙏

Merciful God, in moments of shock and grief, we lift up all those who are hurting. We pray for the victims, the families, the first responders, and the entire community.
Bring comfort to those who mourn and peace to those whose hearts are troubled. Be a source of strength for the weak and a guide for those who feel lost. We ask for healing for both the visible and invisible wounds, and for a spirit of hope to rise in the midst of despair.
May your presence be a light in the darkness, and may all who are affected find solace in your unwavering love, Amen🙏🙏.

What is Prayer Life?

According to the Bible, prayer is a continuous, personal conversation with God. It's not just a formal, ritualistic practice, but a dynamic and essential part of a believer's relationship with their Creator. The Bible describes prayer in various ways:

* Communication with God:

Prayer is the way for a believer to communicate their emotions, desires, praises, and requests to God. It is a means of fellowship with Him. (Psalm 73:28, Ephesians 3:14)

* Asking God for His Promises:

A key aspect of prayer is asking God to do what He has already promised to do in His Word. This includes asking for His will to be done, for wisdom, strength to obey, and for the spread of the Gospel. (Matthew 6:9-13, 1 John 5:14-15)

* A Two-Way Conversation:

While prayer involves speaking to God, it is also about listening for His guidance. Through prayer, Christians seek to align their will with God's will. (1 John 5:14-15)

* A Way to Receive from God:

The Bible teaches that through prayer, we can receive forgiveness (1 John 1:9), guidance (James 1:5), and
God's peace (Philippians 4:6-7).
The Christian prayer life is a continual state of being in communication with God, not just a set of isolated events. It can be audible or silent, private or public, and it encompasses all aspects of a believer's life.

How Long Should a Believer Pray?

The Bible does not specify a minimum or maximum time for a true believer to pray. Instead of focusing on duration, the emphasis is on consistency and sincerity.
The Apostle Paul instructs believers to "pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17). This doesn't mean a person should be in a perpetual state of kneeling with their eyes closed, but rather that a Christian's life should be marked by a continuous, running conversation with God.

The Bible provides examples of different prayer lengths:

* Jesus prayed for extended periods, sometimes all night (Luke 6:12).

* He also gave a model for a brief but powerful prayer (the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6:9-13).

* Old Testament figures like Moses and Nehemiah offered both short, urgent cries and longer, heartfelt prayers.

The key takeaway is that the length of prayer is less important than the heart behind it. A believer should pray long enough and often enough to maintain a deep connection with God. The goal is to be in a state of constant fellowship, where prayer is a natural and unhindered part of daily life.

Prayer is an evidence of relationship with God for Inner Peace.

The Bible teaches that true inner peace is a divine gift that comes directly from a reconciled relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ. This peace is not dependent on external circumstances.

* Justification by Faith: The foundation of this peace is found in Romans 5:1, which says, "Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." This verse highlights that through Jesus's sacrifice, the sin that separated humanity from God is removed, and a state of peace is established.

* Trust and Steadfast Mind: Isaiah 26:3 states, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." This verse connects inner peace directly to trusting God and keeping one's thoughts focused on Him, rather than on worldly anxieties.

* The Peace of God Guarding Your Heart: Philippians 4:6-7 offers a clear path to inner peace: "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." This promise assures believers that by casting their worries on God through prayer, they will receive a peace that transcends human comprehension.

* Jesus's Promise: Jesus himself promised this unique peace, saying in John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." This distinguishes the peace of God from the temporary, circumstance-dependent peace that the world offers.

In summary, a relationship with God for inner peace is not a self-help strategy, but a transformative reality rooted in reconciliation with God, anchored by trust in Him, and maintained through constant prayer. It is a peace that stands firm even in the midst of life's troubles because it is grounded in God's unchanging nature.

🌟 BE ENCOURAGED THROUGH TRIALS – THEY ARE BUILDING YOU! 🌟

Family and friends, let me remind you of a powerful truth from James 1:2-4 (AMP):

> “Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity and inner peace]. And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing.”

I know life doesn't always feel joyful—especially when you're facing storms, loss, setbacks, or delays. But this verse challenges us to see trials through the lens of purpose.

Your current struggle is not meant to destroy you—it is meant to shape you.

Every trial is a test of your faith, but it’s also a tool that God is using to build something deeper within you: ENDURANCE. And that endurance is not wasted. It’s preparing you for something greater. It's building spiritual maturity. It's cultivating inner peace. It's preparing you to stand firm, even when the winds of life blow hard.

So today, don't lose heart. Your pain has purpose. Your process has power. Let God finish the work He's started in you. Stay in the fire long enough for endurance to do its perfect work—because when it’s done, you’ll come out refined, stronger, wiser, and full.

You won’t be lacking anything—because God is completing you.

Stay encouraged. Keep pressing forward. Your breakthrough is not just in what you receive—it’s in who you are becoming.

''A true believer will come closer to God in trails, but an unbeliver who is acting like a believer go back to the world for same trails''

Like it and share it, so that, others may get encouraged too. TQ

The Strength of Humility: Finding True Greatness in Lowliness

I. Introduction: The World's View vs. God's View

* Hook: I am starting with a thought-provoking question.

"What does it mean to be great? The world tells us it's about power, success, and being the best. But what if true greatness is found in a completely different place?"

* Problem: We often chase a worldly definition of success and greatness, which can lead to pride, competition, and an inability to connect with others.
This path is ultimately unfulfilling.

* Thesis: I am Introducing the theme of the sermon: Humility isn't weakness; it's a powerful strength given to us by God. It's the key to true peace, joy, and spiritual growth.

II. Biblical Foundation of Humility

* Main Text: Philippians 2:3-8. Open your Bible and read this passage.

* Verse 3: "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves." This verse is a direct command to put others first.
* Verses 5-8: Focus on the ultimate example of humility: Jesus Christ. He, who was God, "made himself nothing" and took the form of a servant, humbling himself even to death on a cross.

* Supporting Texts: Read below verses
* Proverbs 22:4: "Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches, honor and long life." This highlights the blessings that come with humility.
* James 4:10: "Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up." This is a promise from God.
* Matthew 23:12: "For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted." This is a key principle of God's kingdom.

III. What Humility is (and isn't)
* Humility is NOT:
* Thinking less of yourself. It's not self-deprecating or insecure.
* Ignoring your gifts or talents. God gave them to you for a purpose.

* Humility IS:
* Thinking of yourself less often. It's focusing on God and others, not constantly on your own needs and desires.
* Recognizing your place before God. It's an accurate self-assessment, knowing that you are a beloved creation of God, but not the creator.
* Having a servant's heart. It's a willingness to help others, even in seemingly small or unimportant ways, just as Jesus did.

IV. Practical Application: Living a Humble Life
* 1. Value others above yourself: Challenge the congregation to actively listen to others without interrupting, to celebrate someone else's success, and to seek opportunities to serve.
* 2. Confess your weaknesses: Be honest with God and with a trusted friend about your struggles. This act of vulnerability is an expression of humility.
* 3. Serve without seeking recognition: Volunteer for a task no one else wants. Do a good deed for someone and don’t tell anyone about it.
* 4. Pray for a humble heart: Humility is a fruit of the Spirit, and we need God’s help to cultivate it.

V. Conclusion: The Blessing of Humility

* Recap: Humility is not a weakness, but a strength modeled by Jesus. It brings honor, spiritual riches, and exaltation from God.

* Final Challenge: I encourage you dear follower of Christ to make a conscious choice this week to practice one act of humility.

* Prayer: Our dear Father God, I am praying for a humble heart and a greater desire to follow the example of Jesus, for me and all who join here! In Jesus name, Amen!!

**OWCC Mission Report**

**Date:** July 8, 2025
**Location:** Andhra Pradesh, India
**By:** MA John, OWCC Mission

**Introduction:**

With hearts full of faith and purpose, our local OWCC team embarked on a mission journey to the remote villages of Andhra Pradesh. Our divine calling was to proclaim the Gospel, fortify local churches, and serve the community through various outreach initiatives. As commanded in Matthew 28:19-20, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you."

**OWCC Micro Churches:**

We were blessed to partner with local village (Micro) churches, offering biblical teaching and encouragement to their congregations. preaching the Word, led worship services, and engaged in discipleship activities, nurturing spiritual growth and maturity among the believers. Hebrews 10:24-25 exhorts us, "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another."

**OWCC Orphans Care:**

At our orphanage, the OWCC staff dedicated themselves to providing care and support to the precious children entrusted to us. We distributed essential supplies, including food, clothing, and educational materials. Our core team also spent joyful moments with the children, sharing the love of Christ through games, arts, and crafts. James 1:27 reminds us, "Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world."

**Gospel Outreach Mission:**

In our evangelistic endeavors, we are fervently sharing the Gospel with the local communities. Our team is distributing tracts, preaching in public spaces, and engaging in heartfelt conversations, leading many to salvation and a decision to follow Christ. Romans 10:14 proclaims, "How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?"

**OWCC Bible School:**

We joyfully organized our OWCC Bible school for local teenagers, imparting biblical principles and values. Our team created an engaging and interactive learning environment, effectively conveying the message of God's love. The children exhibited a sincere eagerness to learn about Jesus and His teachings. Proverbs 22:6 encourages us, "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it."

**OWCC Drinking Water Unit:**

The drinking water unit at our owcc mission base camp has been significantly improving the health and well-being of the community, providing access to clean drinking water for the needy. This initiative reflects our commitment to serving others, as stated in Matthew 25:35, "For I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink." The project has fostered unity and hope, echoing John 4:14, "Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst." We are grateful for the blessings this project has brought, fulfilling our mission to love and support our neighbors.

**Challenges and Opportunities:**

Even though we are facing challenges such as limited resources and infrastructure, our team has been able to make a profound impact on the lives of the people. We discerned opportunities for future ministry, including discipleship programs and community development projects. Philippians 4:13 reassures us, "I can do all things through him who strengthens me."

**Conclusion:**

Our OWCC mission has borne fruit, with the Gospel being proclaimed, lives transformed, and local churches strengthened. We are profoundly grateful for the opportunity to serve and eagerly anticipate continuing our partnership with the One Way Christian Church, GB, WI, with renewed vigor. Psalm 126:3 declares, "The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad."

**Recommendations:**

- Continue to support us in reaching out to the multitudes of lost souls in India.
- Expand our orphanage care work and community development initiatives.
- Intensify outreach efforts to share the Gospel with more individuals.
- Establish ongoing Bible teaching programs for local children and adults.

**Praise and Prayer Requests:**

- **Praise:** For the salvations and decisions to follow Christ (Luke 15:10).
- **Prayer Requests:** For continued spiritual growth and maturity among the local churches (Colossians 1:10), for the provision of resources and support for ongoing ministry (Philippians 4:19), and for divine protection and guidance for our team (Psalm 91:11).

**Gratitude:**

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our supporters, partners, and team members who continue to make this mission possible. Your prayers, financial support, and encouragement have enabled us to serve and make a lasting difference in the lives of the people. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 reminds us, "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."

May God continue to bless and guide our mission work, and may His name be glorified in all that we undertake.
