It is with profound sorrow that we have learned about the passing of Mr. Asif Nazir Aakhoon (REK Kupwara). His demise is an irreparable loss not only to his family and friends but also to the entire Youth Services & Sports fraternity.

In this moment of deep grief, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. May Almighty Allah grant him the highest مقام in Jannat-ul-Firdous, forgive his shortcomings, and bless his noble soul with eternal peace.

May Allah also grant strength, patience, and courage to his loved ones to bear this immense and irreplaceable loss (Aameen).

*Department of Youth Services and Sports JKUT Achieves Milestone*
The All Jammu and Kashmir Youth Services and Sports Welfare Employee's Association is thrilled to announce a remarkable achievement for the Department of Youth Services and Sports JKUT.

Mr. Fayaz Ahmad Pala, a dedicated Physical Education Teacher at GHS Khanabal and a member of our Association, has been selected to officiate as an umpire in the prestigious Kho-Kho World Cup 2025.

A resident of Nowpora Akhran, Mr. Pala's accomplishment is a testament to his hard work and dedication. The Association, along with all employees of the YSS Department JKUT, extends warm congratulations to Mr. Pala on this outstanding achievement.

We wish him all the best for the tournament and are proud to have him represent our department on the global stage.

All Jammu and Kashmir Youth Services and Sports Welfare Employee's Association today met Director General of Youth Services and Sports in his office chamber Srinagar led by its president Sheikh Naseer Ahmad, discussed various issues pertaining to field employees of the Youth Services and Sports (YSS) department.

The meeting focused on main issues like Employee's welfare, promotion of PET’S, PEM’S, REK'S, establishing a permanent transfer policy, sports infrastructure development and promoting youth engagement in sports activities. The YSS department, established in 1973, aims to empower youth and promote sports excellence ¹.

Some key areas of discussion including:

- *Employee Welfare*: Addressing concerns related to employee benefits, working conditions, and career development opportunities.
- *Sports Infrastructure*: Enhancing sports facilities, equipment, and resources to support youth development programs.
- *Youth Engagement*: Strategies to increase participation in sports and activities, fostering physical and mental well-being among young people.

The worthy Director General, Rajinder Singh Tara ji, has expressed his commitment to creating a supportive ecosystem for youth growth and development. This meeting marks a positive step towards addressing the concerns of YSS employees and promoting sports excellence in Jammu and Kashmir. The Association is highly greatfull to worthy DG Sir for his time and patient hearing to all the issues came in to discussion and his poitive response. We are also thankful to the subordinate officers and officials for their unwavering support and co-operation for our genuine cause. Hope this very important meeting will bear fruitful Results in near future.
