🔥 Motivational Events The Foundation of Sports, Learning & Development (FSLD) is an organization that has been recently created by a group of individuals to work for the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir in every aspect possible -- particularly in the field of sports, health, education, you
th empowerment and employment generation. The group consists of individuals from sports, economics, disaster management, entrepreneurship, business, mass communication and other backgrounds. Most of these individuals have in the past several years worked on various diverse projects, including creating awareness about the ill effects of drug addiction, self defence for women, animal rescue, promoting healthy living through sports, besides others. But, in order to channelize the energies of all the individuals under one banner, the need was felt to create an organization through which all these welfare activities could be done systematically and with more transparency. The organization has its presence in all the districts of J&K. Thus, Foundation for Sports, Learning and Development came into existence. Our mission is to help create a society that is healthy, safe and prosperous, besides work to overcome poverty by creating job opportunities through youth empowerment. As our organization intends to work simultaneously on different spheres of society, it has been divided into three sub sectors, which will be handled by the people who have relevant experience and education so that they can use their knowledge to successfully complete their projects. Sports:
Sports will be handled by a team which consists of individuals, who have represented the state and the country in various tournaments in their respective games. Through sports, the organization intends to promote healthy living and self defence, particularly for women, besides raising awareness about ill effects of drug addiction and mental health. Through this initiative, the organization intends to provide a wide range of choices, in terms of games selection for people, particularly youth, who can channelize their energies constructively. Both indoor and outdoor games -- particularly martial arts, cricket and football -- will be promoted through regular training sessions
in our district clubs. The players will also be provided local, national and international platforms to showcase their talent in their respective games. Learning:
Under its learning initiative, the organization intends to impart quality education to youth, particularly students belonging to under privileged families. The FSLD has already signed an MOU with Quest Management Academy (QMA), which is one of the leading coaching centers in south Kashmir, by which coaching centers will be set up in all the districts of J&K to provide quality and affordable education to students. Development:
Special emphasis will be laid on women empowerment, youth and skill development, and entrepreneurial development through this initiative. In this sector, the organization intends to organize workshops to raise awareness about the importance of learning self defense, employment generation and skill development.
