💙 Athletes and the ASA team came together for a series of fun games and activities, stepping off the field to simply play and enjoy the spirit of sport together.

🏅 National Sports Day at our grassroots, development and residential centres brought athletes, coaches, parents, volunteers, and community members together to celebrate the power of sport.

🏃🏻‍♂️ From the 100m run and long jump to the 4 × 100m relay and multi-sport activities, the day was filled with energy, participation, and the joy of being active.

😃 More than the events, it was a celebration of the people who make sport possible and the young changemakers growing through it.

😃 At RDT-ASA, coaches help create spaces where children feel safe to play, learn and grow.

🙌🏻 Through our coaches' workshop, the young coaches build practical knowledge for the holistic development of children, and as they put it into practice at their respective centres, they create more conducive, safe, and engaging playing spaces for children.

😃 After weeks of intense competition, friendship and sporting spirit in Cricket, Kabaddi, Hockey, Football, and volleyball, the young athletes are ready for the final push.

🙌🏻 Taking the first step!

✨ We have successfully concluded the first Coaches’ Workshop of the season, with 60+ aspiring youth coaches from our grassroots and development centre programmes across Anantapur and Sri Sathya Sai districts.

🤹🏻‍♂️ Held over three days, the workshop created an interactive learning environment where young coaches had the opportunity to learn about the role of a coach, session planning, principles of play, long-term athlete development, strength and conditioning, first aid, child safeguarding policies, life skills, and communication.

🙌 The Coaches’ Workshop equips rural youth coaches with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue licences from their respective federations and create stronger livelihood opportunities.
