આમ તો હું ઘણીવાર વૃદ્ધાશ્રમ ની મુલાકાતે જતી હોઉં છું, પરંતુ ગઈકાલે વુમન્સ ડે નિમિત્તે જ્યારે હું પોષણ અભિયાન અંતર્ગત મુલાકાતે ગઈ ત્યારે કદાચ પહેલી વાર મારા દિલમાં અને મગજમાંથી આ વિચાર ઉભરી આવ્યો કે જે દીકરા કે દીકરીના ઘરમાં માતા-પિતાને રાખવા માટે એક રૂમ અને એક નર્સની તથા દવાઓની વ્યવસ્થા ના કરી શકાય તે દીકરાઓ કદાચ જગતમાં ગમે તેટલું ઉચ્ચ સ્થાન ધરાવતા હોય પણ તેમના સંપતિ અને સુવિધાજનક વિશાળ બંગલાનું કોઈજ મહત્વ ના કહેવાય.

જન્મ થી મરણ સુધી જીવનના રંગમંચ પર વિવિધ ભૂમિકા ભજવતી આજની દીકરી ભવિષ્ય ની સશક્ત મહિલા નું સ્વાસ્થ્ય પણ એટલું જ અગત્યનું . આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય મહિલા દિવસના ભાગરૂપે શ્રી ઝવેરબા હાઇસ્કુલ સારસા ખાતે પ્રિન્સીપલશ્રી તથા સ્કૂલ સ્ટાફના સહયોગથી *નિવેદિતા ફાઉન્ડેશન તથા ઓબે ટુ સ્લિમ ક્લિનિક આણંદના ડાયટીશીયન નિધિ ઠક્કર તથા ફિઝિયોથેરેપીસ્ટ ડો.નિધિ* દ્વારા વર્કશોપનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું. જેમાં ૧૨૫ જેટલી વિદ્યાર્થીનીઓને ખોરાક તથા જીવન શૈલીમાં સુધાર અંગે, યોગ-કસરત તથા ચાલવાના મહત્વ અંગે વિગતવાર જાણકારી આપવામાં આવી.. દરેક કિશોરીઓને ખજુર નું વિતરણ નિવેદીતા ફાઉન્ડેશન દ્વારા કરવામાં આવ્યુ.

They say that defining womanhood is like trying to capture moonlight in a jar. It’s vast, it’s luminous, and it looks a little bit different to everyone who sees it.

At its heart, womanhood is an internal "yes." It’s that quiet voice inside that tells you who you are, regardless of what clothes you wear or what job you have. It’s your own personal North.

Even though every woman is different, there is a "common thread" that ties them together managing the many roles of career, family, and self.

While some find womanhood through the physical body or the ability to give life, it’s not just about that. In 2026, we know it’s also about identity. It’s a space you inhabit. The beauty of womanhood today is that, it is increasingly self-defined. It isn't a destination you reach or an exam you pass.

We often talk about the 'Double Burden'—from social expectation to perfectly balanced career, caregiving as well as emotional labor. While that burden is real, so is the strength we find in carrying it together a specific kind of deep awareness that says,
'This is who I am.'

So let us together celebrate that space. We celebrate the freedom to define ourselves on our own. Today, being a woman simply means having the freedom to define yourself.
