UFRTI welcomes the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh's decision to reactivate the posting of state govt orders online—a practice discontinued by the previous regime. This augurs well for transparency. We request the state govt to set up info boards in village secretariats under the RTI Act.
UFRTI had written to the then Chief Minister YS Jagan when the practice of posting AP govt orders online was discontinued, raising our concerns. Unfortunately, our requests were never heeded. Transparency should never take a backseat.
