August 2026 was a month of learning, farmer engagement, community development and meaningful action. 🌿🤝

🔹 𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐋 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐕𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐚

MEL data verification and yield-data updates for 70 farmers
Mango sapling distribution and need assessment coordinated for 200 farmers across 10 villages
Mass awareness campaigns, Farmer Training–3 and HRDD programmes conducted
Multi-stakeholder training with representatives from SSNNL, GGRC, GSFC and Zydex
Demo plots monitored and pheromone traps installed
NIC vermicompost awareness and farmer data follow-up undertaken.

Farmer Trainings 3 & 4 conducted to strengthen regenerative agriculture practices
Post-Sowing List verified through MEL
Field visits to demo farmers and Bio-input Centre-associated farmers
Training and labour records updated for better project documentation
Focus on farmer knowledge, field implementation and data quality.

Six Foundation Course modules completed in Chakrava village, Khambha Block
Sessions focused on Human Rights for All, Gender Awareness and Gender Equality.

Children celebrated Raksha Bandhan by making handmade rakhis
Independence Day was celebrated on 15 August
Children actively participated in yoga and other learning activities.

Reading Circle conducted discussions around the Animal School document and an inspirational story.

On 18th and 19th June 2026, a two-day TOT-2 (Training of Trainers) program was successfully organized at the Hariraj Charitable Trust office in Amreli under CottonConnect's Reel Regenerative Program.

The training brought together enthusiastic team members from Hariraj Charitable Trust and Vasundhara Foundation, providing them with valuable knowledge and practical insights on sustainable cotton cultivation, natural resource conservation, and farmer empowerment.

💚 Such knowledge-enriching initiatives play a vital role in equipping field teams with the skills needed to support farmers in adopting sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural practices. The learnings from this training will contribute significantly towards farmer empowerment and the promotion of responsible cotton production.
