We strongly opposed the padmashree award to one shri kakingtabum in shanthoiba Sharma, in the field of Thang-Ta Sports, granted by ministry of Home, as the ministry is erred in holding that, shri kakingtabum shanthoiba Sharma is competent and Bonafide.
In fact the matter of Thang-Ta Sports preservation, protection and promotions in national interest and welfare of youths youngs and aged the needful task carried by first person named H.Premkumar singh, the Grand Master of Thang-Ta Sports, who devoted his life by all means to Thang-Ta Sports promotion in India and abroad. His great love on account of Thang-Ta Martial Arts Sports, being Indian traditional sports and proud of the same he made sincere efforts to spread this Indian traditional Thang-Ta Martial Arts Sports in every state of India and abroad too and due to him only we peoples came to know that our India also having our own martial arts named Thang-Ta.
We know the Hon'ble Grand Master of Thang-Ta Martial Arts Sports shri H premkumar Singh and his hard work in the field of Thang-Ta Martial Arts Sports, development since the institution established by his late Guru R.K.Sanahal Singh in 1986-87, in which yeoman services provided by him as principal of Thang-Ta Institution named metei huyel langlon Thang-Ta Academy. So also he established and organised many training centres at Manipur and in every State of India. Hon'ble Grand Master of Thang-Ta Sports shri H.premkumar singh also made efforts to establish Thang-Ta Federation of India. which is national federation of Thang-Ta Martial Arts Sports. now includes in Khelo india. The copy right also subsisted in Thang-Ta Game in the name of Thang-Ta Federation of India of which H.premkumar is founder president.
We have not seen shri kakingtabum shanthoiba Sharma in anyway of the field of Thang-Ta Martial Arts Sports development.
It is therefore, it would be just and proper to granting of Padmashree award in name of Thang-Ta Grand Master shri H Premkumar singh.
