“ज्ञान ते तंत्रज्ञान: Shri Saibaba Library Digital Transformation Initiative”

With the divine blessings of Shri Saibaba, we are delighted to share that we have undertaken the Library Automation and Digitization Project at the Shri Saibaba Library, operated by Shri Saibaba Sansthan, Shirdi.

On this occasion, we had the privilege of meeting the respected Chief Executive Officer of the Sansthan, Shri Goraksh Gadilkar (IAS), and discussing the vision and scope of this initiative.

This project is being implemented under the esteemed guidance of:

• Dr. Bhausaheb Panage – Former Librarian, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune
• Shri Chetan Taksale – Director, Softech Solutions & Services, Pune
• Shri Idrish Khan – Technical Director, Softech Solutions & Services, Pune
• Rtn Pralhad Jadhav – President, Rotary Club of Ambarnath North
• Rtn Digamber Kokare – President, Rotary Club of Ambarnath West

As part of this initiative, the Shri Saibaba Library has been equipped with:

• Koha Library Management System
• DSpace Digital Repository
• Fujitsu Document Scanner
• Barcode Scanner
• Barcode Stationery

The total project cost is approximately ₹3 Lakhs, generously contributed by the above-mentioned stakeholders, their respective organizations, and Rotary Clubs.

Our vision is to ensure that the rare and valuable collections of this library become easily accessible to devotees and researchers through digital platforms, thereby transforming the library into a distinguished research and knowledge center in the years to come.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Shri Sunil Shejwal Sir for accepting the responsibility of this project and providing excellent support throughout its ex*****on.

I recently had the privilege of attending the Annual Day Function at Vedanta Special School, alongside Rtn Rajesh Bhavsar (President Elect), Rtn Anand Raghavan (Secretary), Rtn Rajkumar Tolani (Executive Secretary) & Ann Priyanka Jadhav (First Lady).

It wasn’t just an event; it was a testament to the incredible efforts of the teaching faculty and the sacrifices of the parents. The teachers, with their endless patience and care, Mold these children with love and dedication. The parents, with unwavering support, ensure their children thrive in every way.

Most of all, the special kids themselves, performing with so much spirit and joy, reminded us of the strength of love and resilience. Their performances were not just acts – they were expressions of their potential.

It was a day that truly touched my heart and reaffirmed the “Rotary Moment”, power of community, care, and belief in every child.

Anand Milan @ Where Experience Meets Happiness

Anand Milan is a special fellowship initiative designed for senior citizens, organized by the Rotary Club of Ambarnath North with the aim of celebrating life, experience, and companionship in the golden years.

This beautiful fellowship was made possible with the support of RC Dombivali Diamonds, RC Amb Smart City, RC Thane Creek Side, RC Thane Angels, RC Thane Green City, RC Bhiwandi Central and RC Ambarnath West.

On behalf of Rotary Club of Ambarnath North, we express our heartfelt gratitude to all the co-host clubs for joining hands in this meaningful initiative and celebrating the spirit of togetherness with our senior citizens. -
Together in Rotary, we create moments that truly matter.

FIESTA Lawns (Ms. Ruthi Tembe) and Vedant Traders (Shri Vinod Chandanshive) generously supported this fellowship. Without their valuable support, the successful organization of this event would not have been possible.

A total of 25 senior fellows registered for the program, and they thoroughly enjoyed all the activities and sessions in a highly interactive manner.

Service Above Self in Action…

Rotary Club of Ambarnath North, in association with IDBI Bank, had the privilege of donating a complete computer system to Z.P. School, Posri (Ambarnath Taluka).

This small rural school currently nurtures 72 young minds who carry big dreams for their future. For many of these children, access to a computer is not just a machine—it is a window to knowledge, technology, and opportunities beyond their village.

Through this humble initiative, we hope to ignite curiosity, encourage digital learning, and inspire more students to join the school in the coming years.

When a child gets access to learning tools, a future begins to change.
Together with partners like IDBI Bank, Rotary continues its mission of empowering communities through education.

Every small step in education creates a big change in society.

Her Strength, Her Leadership: A Tribute to Inspiring Women.

Celebrated International Women’s Day in a truly meaningful and unique way by organizing the event in two special segments dedicated to honouring the strength and achievements of women.

Segment 1 – Felicitation of Single Parent Women (“Behind every successful child raised by a single mother lies a story of silent sacrifices, sleepless nights, and unstoppable strength.”)

In this segment, we honoured single mothers who are courageously taking care of their children's education and upbringing single-handedly. Their dedication, resilience, and commitment to shaping the future of their children are truly inspiring.

Maya Jadhav, Saira Baigh, Parvarti Kamboli, Saroj Itkar, Durga Kamble, Varsha Chikle, Vatsala Bansode, Poonam Kamble, Ankita Gopi, Nisha Raghuvanshi & Suman Borhade.

Segment 2 – Honouring Women Leaders (“When women rise in different fields, they don’t just break barriers — they build new paths for the generations that follow.”)

The second segment was dedicated to recognizing and honouring women leaders from diverse professional backgrounds who are making a significant impact in society.

The honoured women included: Dr. Gaurangi Karmarkar – MD Ayurveda Doctor, Dr. Padma Deshpande – Academician & Athlete, Ms. Arzoo Shaikh – Banker (Transgender Leader), Mrs. Sonia Gurnasinghani – Banker, Mrs. Samruddhi B. Gurjar – Teaching Domain, Mrs. Akshada Bhosale – Social Service Domain, Mrs. Chhaya Anand Raghavan – Entrepreneur, Mrs. Rajshree Nalawade – Teaching Domain, Mrs. Manisha Mahakal – Social Worker, Mrs. Aradhana R. Goyal – Educationist

A special thanks to Dr. Gaurangi Karmarkar (PE – Rotary Club of Thane Creekside) for graciously accepting our invitation and joining us as the Guest of Honour.

We also extend heartfelt appreciation to Ms. Arzoo Shaikh, a proud transgender professional from the banking sector, for accepting the honour and inspiring everyone with her journey.

Our sincere gratitude to Mrs. Sangita Sali, Headmistress, for providing this wonderful opportunity for collaboration and for supporting this meaningful initiative.

Dear All

A Proud Moment for RC Ambarnath North!

I am delighted to share that our club project POP Idol Dissolution was discussed and appreciated at the TiTEN DISCON.

The project was further deliberated with esteemed experts like Shri Binesh Desai and Shri Malhar Kaalambe for scaling it into a larger Rotary initiative.

Now, Rotary District 3142 is planning to take forward a sustainable project under the theme: “Visarjan Se Vikas Tak”.

This is indeed a proud milestone for our very own “Garbage Man” — Rtn Rajesh Bhavsar, who has been passionately working on this initiative for over a decade.

Today, his consistent efforts are being recognized and discussed at the district level — a true testament to dedication, sustainability, and the power of Rotary action.

Special thanks to Harsh Makol and Satish Mane for creating awareness and appreciating this impactful initiative.

Congratulations to Rtn Rajesh Bhavsar and the entire team for turning a local initiative into a district-level inspiration!

The said project was executed with 7 different Rotary Clubs from District 3142 in association with Ambarnath & Badlapur Nagarparishad, Kalyan Dombivali Mahanagarpalika & two inter district club from Pen, & Lonavala Nagarparishad.

Rotary Club of Ambarnath North Hosts Lifesaving CPR Workshop – 25th February 2026

Rotary Club of Ambarnath North successfully organized a lifesaving CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Workshop on 25th February 2026 at Mohan Suburbia for the residents of the housing society.

The training session was conducted by Dr. Pushpraj Swami, who explained the importance of timely CPR and demonstrated the correct techniques interactively and practically.

Nearly 75 participants actively took part in the workshop and gained valuable hands-on knowledge that can help save lives during medical emergencies.

The program was well appreciated by the residents and reflects Rotary’s commitment to community health and safety.
