When you're building a startup, you're naturally close to everything, the idea, the product and the decisions. But sometimes, being too close can make it harder to see what's right in front of you.

She left a well-paying software job to work with bees.

For Krishnaveni, the journey started with a belief that farming could become more than just a passion. With an Agricultural Engineering background, â‚ą1.5 lakh and 200 bee boxes, she took a leap of faith and started BVK Natural Honey Food Products.

What followed was a journey of learning, selling, building connections and slowly creating a brand around natural honey.

From referrals and entrepreneur stalls to a tie-up with Tenali Double Horse, Krishnaveni has been taking her business one step at a time.

Now, her goal is bigger: 1,000 bee boxes and a brand that reaches across India.

And while building her own business, she is also helping others explore beekeeping as an opportunity.

Sometimes, one decision really can take your life in a completely different direction.
