VAMA Charitable Trust is dedicated to uplifting rural communities through education, healthcare, social welfare, and elderly care.

Since 2017, we’ve been spreading kindness and creating impact—one life at a time. At VAMA Charitable Trust, we believe in the power of giving and the impact of caring. Established in November 2017, VAMA has been working with a clear purpose—to uplift rural communities by focusing on healthcare, education, social welfare, livelihoods, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to improve the socio-economic conditions of village populations, especially those who are often overlooked. We place special emphasis on restoring the dignity and social security of the elderly, ensuring they live their lives with self-respect and peace. From day one, VAMA has taken meaningful steps toward change—whether it’s supporting the education of underprivileged students, offering scholarships to youth from marginalized backgrounds, or providing monthly financial aid to elderly widows without a family to support them. We are committed to building a more compassionate and inclusive society—one act of kindness at a time.

🌿 SANGAMAM 190 – A GATHERING OF HEARTS ❤️

More than 40 elders came together from nearby villages for a beautiful celebration of prayer, fellowship, friendship and togetherness.

Our elders came to us. Now, VAMA is determined to take Sangamam closer to them through the vision of IASERC and Mini Chapters in nearby villages.

The 189th Week of VAMA’s Saturday Sangamam was a truly meaningful celebration of National Senior Citizens Day 2026, bringing together nearly 200 senior citizens in Tenkasi.

From honouring inspiring Senior Citizen Achievers to sharing valuable insights on health, financial wellbeing, protection, digital awareness, and Experience in Action, the gathering celebrated the knowledge, contribution and potential of our elders.

With inspiring interactions, cultural performances, recognition and joyful moments, the day reaffirmed a powerful message:

Age is not a limitation. Experience is a strength. Every elder deserves to be respected, recognised and empowered. ❤️

Together, let us build a society where elders continue to live healthy, stay connected, contribute meaningfully and age with dignity.

The 186th Week of Saturday Sangamam at Sailam Centre brought our elders together for a meaningful session focused on health, wellness, and mindful living. 🌿💙

The day featured an engaging health awareness interaction where elders listened, asked questions, and shared their thoughts on maintaining a healthier and more conscious lifestyle during their senior years.

From Heartfulness meditation and natural health guidance to meaningful conversations and community bonding, the session created a calm and positive space for learning and reflection. 🧘‍♀️🌱

With more than 100 elders participating, the day was filled with valuable insights, warm interactions, and moments of togetherness. At VAMA, every Sangamam is a step towards building a caring community where elders feel valued, respected, healthy, and connected. 💛

🌿 187th Week of Sangamam | Alwarkurichy 🌿

A day filled with devotion, togetherness, music and cherished memories. 🙏✨

The 187th Week of Sangamam, held on 8th August 2026, was celebrated through a spiritually enriching Thiruvasagam Muttothuthal, with the participation of our elders from various locations.

With the support of the Sivagami Ammal Thiruvasaga Team, our elders immersed themselves in devotional activities, traditional Kailaya Vathiyam and meaningful moments of spiritual connection. The blessings of the Sengol Atheenam of Perungulam added special significance to the gathering. 🙏

Beyond devotion, the day also brought elders together to share experiences, build friendships and create joyful memories. VAMA was happy to arrange breakfast and lunch for all participants.

Our heartfelt thanks to Sivagami Ammal and the entire Thiruvasaga Team for their wonderful support and thoughtful arrangements that made this Sangamam truly memorable. ❤️
