“Craggy Cypress” in black & white
Atchafalaya Basin, Louisiana

I posted the color version of this gnarly cypress tree a couple days ago, and when I did, one of my awesome followers asked to see it in black and white. When I tried it out, it was super cool looking, so I thought I'd share it with y'all. Whatcha think? I hope you like it!

Background: As I glided through the swamp, guided only by headlamp, the silhouette of this bizarrely shaped cypress tree caught my eye. I used two lights on tripods and jammed them into the cold waters to illuminate the tree from the dark.
