Four days left this month, and I need to say something out loud that I usually just carry quietly.
₹4,87,630 owed today and that’s before September’s staff salaries are even counted.

Dog food. Rice, from two different vendors. Chicken feed. Three vets, because three different dogs needed care this month, not one. Medicine. Cleaning supplies for both shelters. Staff who did their jobs all month and still haven’t been paid.

There’s no team behind this account. It’s one person, doing this math alone, hoping it comes out different every time it doesn’t.

Ican’t clear all of this by myself in four days. I’m not asking anyone to. But if enough of you clear even one small piece each, I get to stop doing this alone.

Today, we found this injured soul and gave them the medication they needed. It may seem like a small thing, but for them, it was the beginning of getting better. ❤️🐾

If you ever come across an injured animal, please don’t ignore them. Stop if you can, offer some help, or simply call someone who can. Sometimes, a little kindness makes all the difference.

Running a rescue shelter is not just feeding dogs and cleaning a shelter.

It is 24/7. Rescue calls, emergencies, staff issues, medicines, food, vet visits, complaints… and things that people never see behind the scenes.

And honestly, doing all of this alone has become exhausting.

As a woman, sometimes even a simple rescue call turns into unwanted calls, harassment, arguments and unnecessary pressure.

There are days when I’m dealing with an emergency, while at the same time someone is calling about staff, someone needs medicine, someone needs food, and another animal needs to be rescued.

I cannot be everywhere at once.

That’s why I need a Shelter Manager.

Someone responsible, calm, compassionate and practical.
Someone who can manage the staff, supervise the shelter, coordinate rescues and emergencies, follow up with the vet, keep records and take responsibility when I’m not there.

This is a paid position, but our budget is limited.

I’m not looking for someone who simply wants a job.
I’m looking for someone who understands what this work means.

Someone who can stand beside me so I can continue standing for the animals.

If I could speak, I’d tell you how much it hurts… 💔🐾

I was injured, scared and helpless. I didn’t understand why this happened to me. All I wanted was a little kindness, a safe place and someone who wouldn’t walk away.

Today, I’m still fighting. ❤️‍🩹

For me, it’s my life.
