Meet Pichiku, our rescued community stray and a brave canine distemper survivor. After fighting so hard to stay alive, he’s now battling another heartbreaking crisis.

Pichiku has been suffering from seizures and fits and is unable to eat or drink on his own. We rushed him to the vet immediately, and after examination, he has been admitted for treatment. He now needs IV drips and medications for the next 5 days to stabilize his condition and give him a fighting chance.

Here’s a heartfelt Instagram post that aims to connect emotionally while clearly explaining the situation and asking for support.

💔 URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR PICHIKU 🐾

A few days ago, we rescued a tiny stray soul—Pichiku, barely 7 months old. He had already fought one of the toughest battles of his life and survived canine distemper. We truly believed his worst days were behind him.

But today, our hearts are breaking all over again.

For the past 24 hours, Pichiku hasn’t eaten a single bite. He started twitching and shaking, and we rushed him to the vet without wasting a moment. After examination, we learned that he’s suffering from a severe stomach infection and is having difficulty breathing.

The doctors have started treatment immediately. Pichiku now needs to be on IV drips twice a day for the next 5 days. Every hour matters, and we’re doing everything we can to give this brave little fighter another chance.

We are desperately trying to arrange ₹5,000 to cover his treatment expenses.

Our streeties face a silent threat every day. We are launching an URGENT fundraising drive to provide 100 doses of 7-in-1 vaccines for the stray dogs and cats in our community.
One of the biggest threats they face is Canine Distemper—a highly contagious and often fatal viral disease that attacks the respiratory, gastrointestinal, and nervous systems. Once a dog is infected, treatment is incredibly difficult and the survival rate is heartbreakingly low. Prevention is their only real chance.
Why Vaccination is a Lifesaver:

we totally depend on our followers kindness to support our cause and help us out so we can continue to serve our kids.
We don’t know what will happen to these kids we we fail to feed them.
They are totally dependent on us for the only meals they get
Living on streets, getting injured and hurt by running vehicles, bitten by a pack of dogs, human cruelty and abuse surviving in harsh weather, getting no love and sympathy from people it’s really tough it’s more tough than you and I can ever imagine.
The least we can do for them is provide them tummy filing meals, give the medical assistance as and when needed
Despite of our efforts and appeal. there are stilll 200dogs who didn’t got their meal sponsor
