Intimidation and physical force against students exercising their democratic right to protest are a serious violation of their dignity and rights, reflecting a growing culture of repression on campus. Students must be met with dialogue, not brutality.The alarming situation in Abdullah Hall further raises serious concerns about student safety, rights, and administrative accountability. The administration cannot evade responsibility and must be held accountable.

The prolonged absence of the AMU Students’ Union has created a dangerous democratic vacuum. Without an elected representative body, students are increasingly deprived of an institutional platform to question authority, defend their rights, and hold the administration accountable.
