, an alumnus of Aligarh Muslim University, has been selected as a Scientist at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), bringing laurels to his alma mater.

He began his schooling at Abdullah School, followed by STS School (Minto Circle), and later completed his senior secondary education from Sayyed Hamid Senior Secondary School. He pursued B.Arch and subsequently completed his Master of Planning (M.Plan) from AMU.

After completing his postgraduation, he qualified for the Ph.D. programme at IIT Roorkee. During his doctoral studies, he successfully cleared the ISRO examination, reflecting his dedication, perseverance, and strong academic foundation.

Aligarh Muslim University celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India on 26 January 2026 with great pride, patriotism, and enthusiasm.

The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem, creating a solemn and patriotic atmosphere.

Students, teachers, and staff members participated with discipline and respect.

The VC addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of the Indian Constitution and the values of Justice, Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity. Students presented patriotic songs, speeches, poems, and cultural performances, showcasing their love for the nation and respect for the sacrifices of freedom fighters.
The celebration aimed to instil national pride, unity, discipline, and a sense of responsibility among students. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and the distribution of refreshments.
The Republic Day celebration was meaningful, inspiring, and memorable for all present.

, an alumnus of the Department of Computer Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University has secured selection as Scientist ‘B’ in the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India.

Tamkeen completed her M.Tech. Computer Science & Engineering in 2025 with an outstanding CPI of 9.944, securing the top rank in her class. She also completed her B.Tech. from AMU in 2023 and qualified UG-NET (JRF) 2024 in Computer Science with an All-India Rank 2 (99.9933 percentile) in her very first attempt.

, an alumnus of the Department of Botany, Aligarh Muslim University, has successfully secured a fully funded Ph.D. position in Environmental Geochemistry at Comenius University, Bratislava, Slovak Republic.

He completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from AMU and qualified for the prestigious CSIR-JRF with an All India Rank of 244. He has also published around eight research articles and book chapters in renowned publishing houses such as Springer Nature and Wiley.

His Ph.D. research will focus on the vital area of Environmental Geochemistry, specifically investigating how nanoparticles can be used to mitigate the effects of toxic elements in plants across various soil types.

, an alumnus of the Faculty of Law, has secured admission to the prestigious two-year Barrister course at City St George’s, University of London (formerly Inns of Court School of Law), the same institution that once trained stalwarts like Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and many other eminent world leaders.

A 2022 graduate of AMU’s Faculty of Law, Mr Alam is currently practising as an Advocate in the Supreme Court of India. He also holds the distinction of being the youngest Standing Counsel and Amicus Curiae in the Court’s history. Earlier, he served as Law Clerk-cum-Research Associate to Hon’ble Mr Justice Krishna Murari, former Judge of the Supreme Court.

Dr. Vibha Sharma, Professor of English at Aligarh Muslim University, is recognized for integrating theatre studies with Indian knowledge systems through innovative and interactive pedagogies. An accomplished playwright and actor, she has developed MOOCs, led GIAN courses, mentored students in theatre practice, and contributed as a national-level resource person, extending her outreach to learners across India, especially the underprivileged.
