SSMAF-Sir Syed Mentoring and Assistance Fellowship Guidance, Mentorship, Skills Development, Higher Studies (Abroad), Fellowship Students of any courses from any faculty are welcome to grab this opportunity.

Sir Syed Mentoring and Assistance Fellowship (SSMAF) is established for the international exposure and development of bonafide students and alumni of the Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. In 2017, the AMUSO Facebook group was created to guide and help AMU students to pursue their higher education from top-notch universities of the world. Till then, this group has impacted a lot and help m

any students to secure admission in different universities with full financial aids. AMUSO platform solely mentors the students through the complete process of guidance from application requirements, procedures, documentation such as CV, motivation letter, and visa process. However, many excellent and motivated students have some financial issues for appearing standardized tests and focused guidance which lacks them to proceed further. Therefore, SSMAF is established this year to support students financially for tests or application requirements and guide them in a better way. For the overall growth of the AMU students and Alumni, SSMAF will guide students through personalized mentoring and guidance from current AMU alumni studying in the universities of the USA, France, Hungary, Italy, Poland and Taiwan. SSMAF conducts webinars, expert talks and workshops regularly to fulfill its mission to guide AMU students and Alumni to take admission in various international Universities and training programs. Approximately 9,000 students and faculties around the globe are bonded through this platform and more than 350 students have been benefited from this platform so far.

We are pleased to announce that Suhaib Shahid, recipient of the 2024 Sir Syed Mentoring and Assistance Fellowship (SSMAF), has secured a fully funded admission to the PhD program in Mechanical Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals - KFUPM, Saudi Arabia. His award includes a university scholarship and a teaching assistantship from the department.

In addition to this remarkable success, Suhaib also earned admission offers from the Illinois Institute of Technology (USA), the University of Milan (Italy), and the Universitร  degli Studi di Padova (UNIPD) / University of Padua (Italy), a testament to his academic merit and global competitiveness.

We are delighted to share that Sabahat Ahmad Khan has been awarded the prestigious MEXT Scholarship and secured a fully funded admission to pursue a Master of Science in Civil Engineering at The University of Tokyo, Japan.
