Sneha Hastham Mega Tribal Medical Camp, jointly organized by Aneesh Memorial Trust -TD Medical College Alappuzha , Indian Medical Association (IMA) Alappuzha , the Kerala Forest Department, and the was held on Sunday, August 24 at Swamiyarala, Vattavada, Munnar.

🔹 Inaugurated by Mr. Harikrishnan K.V., Wildlife Warden, Munnar Division

🔹 Keynote address by Dr. Oommen Varghese Chairman, IMA Alappuzha District Committee

🔹 Project report presented by Dr. Hema Francis State Convenor, IMA Kerala Tribal Welfare Committee

A total of 237 patients from Swamiyarala, Mele Swamiyarala, Koodalar, and Valsapetti and nearby tribal settlements attended.

A 24-member expert medical team provided care in:
💓 Cardiology | 👶 Pediatrics | 🩺 General Medicine | 🔪 Surgery | 💧 Urology | 🌸 Gynecology | 🌞 Dermatology | 👁 Ophthalmology

👁 Eye Care Services:

Specialists from Dr. Oommen’s Eye Hospital led the Ophthalmology team.

✨ 57 patients received free spectacles
✨ 11 cataract patients were arranged for free surgery

✨ Eye care services drew wide appreciation, including from public representatives

✅ Free blood tests & other tests like ECGs conducted

SNEHA HASTHAM - free tribal multispeciality medical camp was organized on 9th March 2024 at Moozhiyar KSEB recreation club to provide medical care to the underserved tribal communities in the region.

അനീഷ് മെമ്മോറിയൽ ട്രസ്റ്റ് , കേരള വനം വകുപ്പിന്റെ സഹകരണത്തോടെ കരിമുട്ടി ഫോറസ്റ്റ് സ്റ്റേഷൻ , ചിന്നാർ വന്യജീവി സങ്കേതം , ഉൾവനത്തിനുള്ള ചെമ്പക്കാട് തുടങ്ങിയ ട്രൈബൽ സെറ്റിൽമെൻറ്റ്കൾ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ ഒക്ടോബർ 14 ശനിയാഴ്ച മെഡിക്കൽ ക്യാമ്പ് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു .

അന്നേ ദിവസം 270 ഓളം രോഗികളെ കാണുകയും ഫോറസ്റ്റ് ജീവനക്കാരുൾപ്പടെ 30 ഓളം പേർക്ക് പുതിയതായി പ്രമേഹം , രക്തസമ്മർദ്ദം തുടങ്ങിയ രോഗനിർണയങ്ങൾ നടത്തുകയും മരുന്നുകൾ വിതരണം ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്തു .
