Visit from Kanthari's 2025 batch of change-makers

CERC hosted a group of student trainees (of five different countries) from Kanthari, an international organization training social and environmental leaders. They visited ATREE CERC to learn about our community-driven conservation efforts in Vembanad.

Inspiring conversations and knowledge sharing - a great opportunity for mutual learning!

A Heartening Response from Ullam Project

We are truly overwhelmed by the wonderful response "Jalapaadom Ullam" Project received from Schools like SKMHSS Kumarakom,NSSHSS Nedumudy and others. It gives us immense hope to see young generations showing such keen interest in nature and its conservation, standing as true well-wishers of our environment.

These students reminded us how much programmes like Jalapaadom matter — they nurture creativity, writing skills, analytical thinking, and above all, a deep bond with nature.

At the same time, the challenge of continuing such initiatives due to funding constraints worries us. But the spark we witnessed in these young minds is so inspiring that it motivates us to find a way forward. Their enthusiasm is a powerful reminder that we must take Ullam to more schools and ignite many more young hearts.

Together, let’s keep this journey alive.
