🎬Sooryavansham
Sooryavansham (1999) is a romantic drama starring Amitabh Bachchan in a dual role as the strict patriarch, Thakur Bhanupratap Singh, and his uneducated but devoted son, Heera. Disowned for marrying Radha (Soundarya) against his father’s wishes, Heera struggles but builds a successful life, eventually winning back his father’s love and saving the family honor.
Thakur Bhanupratap rules his village with fairness but treats his youngest son, Heera, like a servant because he is illiterate.
After falling in love with a girl who breaks his heart, Heera is forced to marry Radha. When he tries to stand up to his father regarding this, he is kicked out of the house.
Heera and Radha face hardships but become wealthy and successful, with Heera initiating a charity hospital in his father’s name.
After Heera’s son acts as a bridge, the father realizes his mistakes, especially after Heera saves him from a plot involving poisoned kheer (rice pudding).
The family is reunited, and the father accepts Heera’s love and worth.
