Organized under the initiative of the BSI, Church, Public Relations & Resource Mobilisation (CPRRM), the Mary Jones Womenβs Fellowship (MJWF) Conference for three Auxiliaries in North East India was held from September 15β17, 2026, at the Don Bosco Institute in Guwahati. Led by Elder Dr. Hrangthan Chhungi, Director of CPRRM, the conference was attended by the Auxiliary Secretaries and 11 MJWF members each from Aizawl, Dimapur, and Shillong Auxiliaries. One CPRRM staff member from the Central Office and the Karnataka Auxiliary Secretary also participated. Additionally, two guest Resource Persons were invited to lead the Bible Study and deliver the message during the Valedictory Service. A total of 43 participants gathered for this conference. The theme of the conference was "Empowered by the Word, serving the World," based on which Rev. Lyndan Siyem, BSI Executive Committee member, delivered the keynote address.
Each Auxiliary was given the opportunity to lead the Morning Devotion. Papers were presented on various topics by Elder Dr. Hrangthan Chhungi, Director of CPRRM (Bible Society Ministry); Rev. Remlalfaka, Aizawl Auxiliary Secretary (Church Relations & Borderless Ministry); Rev. Dr. Yiepetso Wezah, Dimapur Auxiliary Secretary (Scripture Engagement); and Rev. VTS Langstieh, Shillong Auxiliary Secretary (Volunteering & Fundraising). The attendees were divided into three groups to hold group discussions under the leadership of the Auxiliary Secretaries.
Two Bible Study sessions were conducted: Prof. Dr. Wandahlin Kharlukhi from John Roberts Theological College, Shillong, led the study on "Equipped to Lead with Faith in All Circumstances," while Elder Dr. Hrangthan Chhungi, Director of CPRRM, led the study on "Biblical Role Models β Faith in Action."
During the conference, ministry reports were presented by the three Auxiliaries, a cultural item was showcased by each group, and a testimony was shared by Rev. Shashikala Alva, Auxiliary Secretary of the Karnataka Auxiliary. Rev. Dr. Namseng R. Marak, General Secretary of CBNEI, delivered the closing message.
The conference delegates also adopted resolutions outlining future plans for their ongoing ministry.
